Jesus is a fictional character.
Jesus is very much a historical figure even without Him being the Son of God. He really did live, He really did have an earthly ministry and He really did die on the cross. It is historical, absolutely irrefutable if you look it up - his lineage and life are evidenced. Of course I choose to believe the Bible as well and not a single thing in it is contradictory as others believe. Regardless, He was a very real man. I understand the hesitation to believe, but your statement is false. I’m sorry you have been hurt by people who most likely claim to know and believe in Christ and that’s most likely why you’re so upset.. or maybe God didn’t answer a prayer the way you wanted Him to. I’m sorry for that too but we don’t always get our way - even in the most dire circumstances. I’m so sorry you’ve been hurt. I know you don’t know me nor have a reason to care about what I’ve been through or done, but I know with all confidence BUT FOR THE GRACE OF GOD I wouldn’t be here. Maybe somewhere around here, hopeless and depressed, BUT God, through Christ, reached into my life, pulled me out of the pit. I am the worst, yet He loved me and saved me. He FREED me from the devastation and separation of sin. He can do that for you too. You don’t have to search the world for what feels good, it’ll never fill that hole. God can.

However, it is an absolute fact that there is literally no contemporaneous evidence that Jesus ever existed.
