The era of McEnroe and Borg was the greatest time for tennis. They changed the game for ever and created the greatest tennis matches I have ever seen, thankyou 👏👏👏
That 84 season was the best year any player ever had. McEnroe only lost 3 matches and he should have won the French.
agreed. One of those losses was in Davis cup so only two losses all year in tournament play.
Three losses in fact, one just before the us open against amritraj
He chocked in the French…
My GOAT
He doesn't hit a shot, he "feels" it.
I don't know how else to describe it.
My favorite player ever.
Best player ever
Best wood racquet player ever
most magical player ever.
@@NisseOhlsen it’s a tie between Mac & Fed for me on that one
@@HCaulfield115 I can see why.
John Mc Enroe was the first tennis player I did watch so much respect for you I had
I don't think I've ever seen John play a finer match than the 1984 US Open final, amazing play. It's also hard to believe he never won another major after that.
1959 Team !
beautiful indeed
"You cannot be serious!?!""
Is this the same John McEnroe who hosted The Chair on ABC?
I still remember #10! Great match but I remember Tony Trabert saying “ I hate to say this at this point in such a great match, but that was a really dumb shot on Jimmy’s part! He should’ve thrown that ball up as high as he could have, and made Jon deal with a ball that was up in the lights and hit an overhead!” I can’t say that I really disagree 🤷♂️
Aye drop the mp3 for me real quick. Ima play it for the homies like i found a leak lol
Vitas looked like he died right there and then.
