    This really helps and expands my knowledge, i want to go to jvs to hopefully become a hair stylist and someone who bleaches and dyes hair. ❤

    Would like to know why the top came out so striped, but you did not film it. It definitely has to be softened up with toner, especially at the roots.

    • @makeupbykarenj3051
      @makeupbykarenj3051 Před 2 lety +1

      Because she did weaves in the sectioning which creates the "stripes". And needing toned more depends on clients wishes.

    Would have like to know the formula used in the bleaching compound. As well as the toner. Too bad you skipped the foil pull. That’s the best part plus as you get to see the raw bleached tone and the quality of the work in that step. Overall pleasant shade.

    If i woul do something like this to one of my client it would definitely be a total disaster

    • @leannebailey6153
      @leannebailey6153 Před rokem

      it’s not really it’s obviously what the client wanted they are more of a spaced out highlight like a 90s type of feel i think it looks good

    • @silverkitty2503
      @silverkitty2503 Před 9 měsíci

      @@leannebailey6153 Firstly you can see at 2.15 the foils are slipping as she places them meaning its not right up to the root secondly she has bleed marks despite saying she wanted to avoid them because her foils slipped and or she didnt apply bleach evenly she also has banding and this was on virgin hair.

    • @KokoBombon
      @KokoBombon Před 6 měsíci

      It gives the illusion of full head of highlights. It’s affordable for the client without having to do a full head of foils. ☺️🙂

    Using a hairdryer without a nozzle means your putting the heating elements directly in contact with the hair, causing heat damage. Not a fan of the stripes.

  • @kaylacarpenter272
    @kaylacarpenter272 Před 2 lety +19

    Why are people saying this is bad? This is a very typical 90s highlight. They SHOULD look bold and stripey.

    • @SuperSarahjuana
      @SuperSarahjuana Před rokem +5

      Because we're not in the 90's anymore..modern highlights are supposed to look natural and well blended so when the hair grows out, it looks more natural. This looked stripey and yellow

    • @kaylacarpenter272
      @kaylacarpenter272 Před rokem +11

      @sarah acosta So? If it looked good at one time, it can look good again. People are so impressionable, that they allow the media to brainwash them into what's culturally aesthetic. Who cares what decade it is. It has its own appeal and coolness. Don't let the false decade to decade trend shift define your style and appeal.
