Cool, I know that feeling, I wore that ring too, never thought I would ever get to Graceland, let alone get to wear his ring, one of the best moments in my life, that ring was heavy !
Most extremely cool. I like you mentioned Mike Moons Museum. I went there as a kid and got my mom to order a red satin “Elvis in Concert” jacket from him after we got back home for Christmas that year....you couldn’t tell me jack after that. I wore that thing for years and I still have it. Doesn’t fit but that’s beside the point☺️. Thanks for the tour Billy, can’t wait for the next one!
I had one of those exact same White toy guitars growing up as a kid. I remember around 85 or so I was about 6 or 7 years old and my parents had just bought their house so all of my family was over and at one point I was in my room with that guitar singing and dancing like Elvis with all of my cousins in there watching me as my audience. Well next thing my dad opens the door and sees what I'm doing and says Robert stop that, you dont dance that way. Lol, so needless to say I stopped and the "show" was over lol but I'll never forget that memory for some reason. And seeing the guitar on this video just brought it up front and center in my head again.
I love your videos!! Elvis was way before my time as I was born in 98 my mom and dad were both under 5 when he passed but I am an extreme Elvis fan and i especially love your videos and your passion for him and his life and I love how you keep his memory so alive! ❤️
Always a thrill to see other fans' collections. Especially something like this one. Fantastic stuff. Had to chuckle about Ed O'Neal. Not to be confused with the "other" Ed O'Neill. The great(?) Al Bundy from "Married With Children." Lol...THANKS!!!
I had cassettes of his concerts which I borrowed from a friend. I copied some of them and listened to them alot growing up. I just wished I saved them. They were great concerts. Some of the concerts ran three cassettes long. They were bootlegs, but they sounded great.
Great video SG. Woulda been cool to get some tidbits from Bills relation that was at Elvis concert that was talked about briefly. Always neat to hear from 'someone/I that was there'. Bill has some cool Elvis items in his collection there,,and thanks for showing them Mr Bill. Hard to picture this would have been prime time,,when Elvis' career,,songs were really starting to be heard nationwide now. You get two BS'ers in a video,,it's bound to be a good one. Thanks again.
Looks like Mr Stovall is the one who traded for that brown travel case from Mr Ted Young, whose interview I just watched in your 3 part video of his collection! How fun to connect the dots! Love your videos, Billy!❤️
So I watched this video and went to find you on Facebook. I can’t believe you’re from Kinston! I live in the Southwood area. I’m originally from near a Raleigh but my husband is from here. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos lately. It was even better to find out you are from here. My hubby and I have been talking about taking a trip to Memphis. I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Anyway, God Bless from Lenoir County!!!
Thank You Crystal I knew a few Ipocks in Kinston.. Hope to meet you two if we happen to be in Memphis at the same time.. It has been so long since I was gone I am having trouble remembering names but the Ipock that stands out to me my dad worked on their pool and their son drove a Mazda RX7.. That would have been around 1980..
I’m gonna have to ask my father in law if he knows you. His name is Doug Ipock and he lived right in town. They live out by the fairground now. He used to play in a band around the area. Hope you and your family are well amongst all this chaos.
I’m sure I have that book. I’ll have to check 😆 I have so many and it looks very familiar. I loved Elvis since 4 or 5 yrs old. Another good one Spa Guy!!

Billy, I just watched a video where one of Elvis’ enterouge was retelling how there were 12 original TCB neclaces. And it was told how Elvis gave one to the optomitrist to copy the TCB logo for his sunglasses. The individual, maybe Sonny West was saying the ncklace was never returned, but didn’t know what happened to it. Now we know! Awesome.
I read once the original glasses were bought at a gas station by a Memphis Mafia guy and Elvis saw them took them then had someone Drive the whole route and stop at every truck stop & Gas Station and bought talk the glasses ( hundreds of them) Elvis gave them all away or broke them ,then they were customer way.Believe this was in a Sean Seaver Book
@@retrobilly1719The original sunglasses were Polaroid Brand, Model 8004. They were somewhat widely available on Polaroid sunglasses stands in various retail places in the late 60's and early 70's. I remember seeing them on racks in certain department stores at the time. The silver sunglasses you see Elvis wearing in That's The Way It Is are the Polaroid glasses. Dennis Saunders made a mold of those and made the various gold ones with the TCB accents on them. If you watch old TV shows from the late 60's, early 70's carefully, you can sometimes spot someone where them. There are a couple of Columbo episodes where an actor in the show and extras in the background can be seen wearing this model of sunglasses.

I saw Elvis wearing his actual Adonis suit on June 9, 1972 at his first show in Madison Square Garden. And many years later I was saddened to see that it had yellowed slightly when I saw it, minus the gold belt, on display at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
Great vlog! Im slowing getting the items needed to start a channel within the next month or so.
