Some people are tripping. I see many say AD or Towns or PG over Sabonis. Really? AD is a great player (when his body does not fall apart like it's made out of eggshells), but Sabonis is 1st in rebounds, 1st in double doubles, 2nd in triple doubles, 7th in assists, 7th in field goal %, and scores ~20 points per game. Oh yeah, people don't realize, but he shoots 45 % from 3s. Only one attempt per game (AD is basically the same and way worse percentage), but still worth mentioning for the sake of this comparison. Hypothetically speaking, if he averaged same % with more 3s attempts to qualify for the leaderboard, he would be 3rd in the entire league! I know I know his % would probably drop with more attempts, but I am going to use this argument anyway :) Domas is very unselfish and could average more points with more attempts. 13 vs AD's 17. Also, Kings have a better record than Lakers. And Kings did not become a problem in the West until he got to Sacramento. AD is obviously a way better defender (Lithuanian tries, but he is not as long or athletic), but offensively I would argue Sabonis exceeds AD. And Towns (while deserves to be an All star) is not as good as AD, so I definitely pick Sabas over him. I loved younger PG. He is still good, but not better than Domas. Sabonis not being an all star is just BS. NBA needs to do better. Expand the numbers of All Star players or something, since talent pool (when it comes to offense) is so vast nowadays.

Examples are Jimmy Butler & Jamal Murray: they are both did not become part of nba all-star roster last year even though they outshined other players(who become part of that nba all-star 2022-2023 roster) last playoffs & made it to nba finals. The worst part here is most of the nba all-stars last year did not even made it to playoffs(like Doncic, Lillard, Derozan, Siakam, SGA, Markannen, etc.). If someone will say it's because they have a great stats last season, well I disagree(in advance) because we play basketball to win. Also, it is easier to have a great stats if you always have the ball but the question here is: Are they really efficient & are they winning when they always have the ball?
