    Just got back from 5 nights tent camping in the primitive area. The sites are nice, and they angle them well to keep you from always seeing your neighbor. No bathrooms back there, though. The raccoons are ddfinitely used to being fed, so put away any food. They were on the picnic table while we were roasting marshmallows over the fire pit right next to them.

      We saw a few in the trees waiting for us to go to bed so they could start going through our stuff. 😂

    The BUNNIES 🐰are So cute!! My family and I love watching your campground reviews. We have 2 small boys as well & upgraded from a tent to a pop up earlier this year. It’s definitely making our trips more enjoyable. No more kids flopping over top of us all night long on the air mattress not wanting to go to sleep 🤣😂 (now they just bunk hop). These reviews are really helpful. We live in NC but fell in love with Saint Simons Island a few years ago & we’ve been eyeing Jekyll Island campground. Might have to try this one instead since it’s close to both. Keep’em coming!!!

    Great review. Glad you guys liked Blythe Island. Cool you got to see the bunnies, even though they weren’t having any of that squash 😂

    Happy Anniversary. We tent camp here in New England; me n hubby empty nesters. Cots made all the difference - will never go back to air mattress. I think the campgrounds we've visited must treat for mosquitoes because they seem to be non-existent. Bunnies! so cute.

    We camped this past weekend at Duckett Mill campground on Lake Lanier in our popup. We had an awesome time.

    Do you know how far out you're able to book out???

    • @PopUpLife
      @PopUpLife  Před 2 lety

      I don't know. Most places will allow you to book close to a year within the intended travel date, but not sure about here.

    Another fun video. I really enjoy both your channels. You do a great job explaining everything. Why don't you get a porti-pot for your camper? Then you don't have to camp so close to the bathrooms.

    • @PopUpLife
      @PopUpLife  Před 3 lety +1

      Thanks so much for watching! We actually do have a potty on the inside but we like to camp close to the bathrooms just for the ease of getting showers. Sometimes it can be a job to tote 2 children and all the shower toiletries back and forth to the showers.

    😂 those are funni bunnies 🐰. My two daughters would want me to camp there just for the bunnies. Yes, it seems more ‘local’ instead of more ‘commercial’. For off the beaten path try Adamson Fish Camp near Glennville. Bring fishing gear and/or boat. They are on FB.

      The bunnies are a draw! Thanks for that recommendation!
