Ekko in game has this voiceline for Jinx "I had a crush… until you started talking to the gun." This shows how hard it is for him to fight it but he knows that time changes everything. I recommend you to see "Ekko:seconds" teaser to understand it.
Ekko had a crush on Powder/Jinx when they were kids. He had to accept the fact that she changed for the worst in order to protect his people.

I really loved the fight scene of Ekko vs Jinx. It was so cool and stylizes and then you realize how sad it actually is because they're childhood friends. Really sad how they all had to deal with so much sadness because of one mistake.
I think this episode was the end of powder, everyone she loved had hurt her: Vi abandoned her again, Silco lied to her, and to top it all off she was fighting her childhood best friend. I think her pulling the pin was less her trying to win the fight and more her just being done with it
I like this interpretation the most because you can see it in her eyes, they look like the eyes of someone who has given up because of the pain. Those 5 secondes of animation are the best of act III for me.

Vi never abandoned her even once. Especially not on the bridge before the Ekko fight. That was all Jinx’s fault. At the end of episode 3 she was taken by Marcus.
I think Jinx blowing up that grenade at the end was her giving up. After a life of trauma and torment from the voices in her head, seeing someone who in a life long past was a dear friend (and according to LoR, had a crush on her) made her accept her end.
It's not that she wanted to die, it's that she didn't care to live. She was done with living in her personal hell at that point.
A few things to note:
Those were the fire lights but things jinx made herself. She's seen to have similar devices and she is an inventor if anything. Also jinx with the grenade at the end was her being over everything and wanting to die. Because while ekko did move, notice how jinx didn't move at all
Finally, I'm not the only one who thinks that. Also, Jinx didn't shoot the last time, like in the childhood memory, she didn't want to kill Ekko, she could.
@@sqxbarto9229 In the game Ekko has the ability to rewind time, so I actually think he got shoot and rewinds time, you can see how he touch the button of the watch when he gets shoot in the childhood memory and then we see the fight in normal time speed with Ekko avoiding the shoot

No, but it's normal that she doesn't move a lot, that's the end point. I do not know if you have already shot with a fling but generally have avoided moving (besides, even in the series you see it stopped before a shot which is normal for aiming). And then the last shot wasn't blind she just didn't have time to shoot

I love Ellie's reactions at the end. And yes that fight scene was amazing.

Everyone gets upset with Cait when she hits that water away and this is my take on it! :)
First off she doesn't know where she is. She IS from Piltover AND an enforcer so her trust is low, even though she's with Vi.
Second, she does hesitate, I think she puts more of a front up to look tough, She thinks Vi is being hurt. She is trying to make herself more threatening so they can switch Cait with Vi.
I understand its like a "wtf" moment, but she doesn't KNOW Vi knows the leader, She doesn't KNOW what is going on, she only knows that she was kidnapped and then given something that COULD of been poison.

In fact, you are not wrong. Ekko in the game has a portable time machine, but he can only travel in time a few seconds. However, at this point he still doesn't have it. They are teasing us with it.

The fight with Jinx and Ekko was reliving the way they used to face off as kids. Each using their preferred weapon and just getting better and quicker by challenging each other.
Ekko in the game can control time. This was just an easter egg for the League players. They made it look like they reverse time but its really just Ekko remembering how Jinx fights step for step and copying it but he is much faster now so he can leap over her shots where as when he was a kid he tries to jump but he cant jump over the bullets back then.
I think he did get shot, because he threw down the watch and rewinded time. Then they switch animation to show how the fight went the second time? Not sure though

Their remembering, they were the babies 👶. So they would train together, so when they were bigger they could fight alongside Vi and the others. These flashbacks, when they would spar for fun, now, for thier lives.

One thing to remember about what Silco told Jinx is that he honestly believed that Vi just walked away and left Jinx just like Vander left Silco! He wasn't lying nor manipulating her in that way, he was always telling her the truth, he didn't know. So he told her that Vi was dead to help her move on!

@@BuddyChy incorrect, Silco isn't trying to manipulate Jinx he honestly believes what he says to her. He's projecting his own issues on to her. He was betrayed and abandoned by Vander, and he sees himself in Jinx.
I think Ekko saved Jinx's life somehow and that's how she survived such a close explosion.

just wanna correct the firelights weren't bombs they are just runeterra's version of fireflies, on the bridge where mechanical firelights that jinx made and had a bomb in it
They weren't fireflies. They were Jinx little robots, she got one robot butterfly in Episode 4 and she made bombs with it.
It was an awesome audience fakeout. The subtitles refer to them as "firelights" right up until you see them up close.

Michelle as Vi (She has the build and voice), Vicki as Jinx (She has the hair and is a little adorable), Lia as Kaitlyn (She has the look). Ellie, as beautiful as she is, she doesn't really fit any of the characters, which means she can be any character, even Victor or Heimerdinger (She is the shortest, I think. 😋 Also, she kinda has the voice.)

I hate that people forgot ,how in episode 1 in opening, enforcer violently killed person and in episode 7 Jinx kill enforcer same way(kind'a revenge)
Vi is partially to blame for Jinx getting worse. On the bridge she could have put Caitlyn down and gone to Jinx but she turned her back and walked away. So frustrating
Jinx just shot at her and Caitlyn why do y’all keep leaving that part out? She’s so hell bent on killing Caitlyn which nearly kills Vi herself.
She doesn’t need to put herself in harm’s way when jinx is unstable.

Jinx shot to separate them, not necessary to kill. Kate is an enforcer after all. The same people that killed her parents and oppressed her people. So Vi chose Piltover and the gem over her own sister. She's a liar!
Well you can say Vi should have stayed back but at that situation..we would not know what could have happened. Who knows maybe she will continue to shoot them since she will think that Vi is trying to protect them by staying behind? Jinx is not thinking straight, she bombarded all the enforcers and then shot at Vi and Cait, so called to separate them but it could actually harm Vi too..Will Jinx be better if Vi is accidentally killed by her own hands as well? Vi doesn't want to fight Jinx, even to punch her again and she doesn't want both sides to get hurt either. Plus Vi did actually choose to go back to Jinx before this incident in case you forgot that too..After all without Cait, Vi would still rot in prison or die and maybe never be able to reunite with Jinx either so giving Cait a hand to safety first wasn’t wrong to me.
In my humble opinion, even without Vi and Cait helping each other or Cait wasn't an enforcer, Jinx mind wasn't stable already due to all the thoughts that clouded her judgement. Being nurtured by Silco's believes and lies through her teen years is not helping too (I understand Silco believe what he is telling Jinx to protect her and to have her on his side so maybe it wasn't a lie for him, but we know it’s wrong). Now she will always think everyone is lying to her and all enforcers are to be blamed, going full mayhem.
All this is just my opinion, we can think how we see fit. Overall Arcane wants to show us how Jinx is born, so in the end all this incident is necessary. :)

In my logic, Jinx actually wanted Ekko to kill her (note she did NOT shoot him in the chest before final blow as she always did in their childhood) and the look on her face when she saw that Ekko could not do it anymore, was more like "i will do it for you" - she did not planned to kill Ekko too at all... just herself. In her mind, she lost everything on that bridge.
I think the chest shot was more him adapting from their practice fights as kids but everything else I agree with. I think she wanted to die instead of having to kill him.

Its hilariously pathetic that anyone would blame Vi for any of her actions on the bridge. She hears a gunshot, so she runs back to make sure both of her friends are ok. There's an explosion, so she continues so she can make sure her friends aren't dead. Then her crazy sister shows up and tries to murder her while she's carrying an injured friend. How in the hell was any other decision going to work?
