Agree! But I must say, the vast adaptability of the Nikon Z bodies is a major blessing for this. I mostly use legacy M42 lenses on my Z6 and get all the manual features I want (manual aperture, directly mechanical focus, etc)
Remember, theres no hand grip & maybe more dials than your used to. I have the ZFC..its good but less practical in use than other builds 'Z50' slightly more dslr build
@@VIDEOVISTAVIEW2020 it is amazing. I have already photographed two weddings with it and many everyday situations. Personally, I love the operation and the haptic feedback of the camera. I also loved my Z6 but technically the ZF is simply superior. It's very fast and I even think the autofocus is great. I'm actually missing the profiles a bit, but I can get over that. I would make that decision again at any time.
I’m just a newbie photographer and purely doing it as a hobby now that I have more free time to fill some of my days with. Part of me wants to spend the extra money and get this camera so that I’ve got one of the newest models and such (knowing how quickly technology becomes outdated and considered as such), but I’m just not sure if I should. I might just get the Z50 2 lens kit because it’s more affordable AND I love taking moon photos, so I figured that long lens in the kit would be perfect for that. 🤷🏻♂️
@@AndreiDimaReviews yes i tried the ZF from a friend , it has the same output as my Z6 , we compared the files side by side and there is no difference at all .
Z lenses need aperture rings.
📸 💯

@ojtheaviator1795
Sigma contemporary series need to come to Nikon Z mount..that's the solution OJ. 😉
I love shooting RAW with the B/W switch on to make the viewfinder display in B/W. In my opinion, it helps with composition.
True
I hope some day i can buy this masterpiece nikon zf. .

the real takeaway is that physical switches are just better.
In reality, the ergonomics are awful & switches are great if moving slowly & manually. Black is elegant
Dials are superior to PASM.
I just bought one and traded in my trusty z6 for it. The camera will arrive in a few days. I'm looking forward to it and hope I don't regret the swap.
It is a blazing fast camera, you won't regret it.
Its now 3 months, what do you think about the camera?

Love my Nikon Zf
What about the autofocus for quick moving subjects like birds in flight? Is it reliable?
I don’t photograph birds. For sports it was great.
Price.
What is the switch cover you are using for the shutter switch? The red cover?
It is a soft shutter button from JJC.
Which b&w profile is your fave to use?
Deep tone monochrome and monochrome.
I don’t know why but my D500 & D850 is a lot better in black and white then the ZF or Z6 series , maybe it has to do with the pixel pitch .
I loved the D850 for black and white but this is also good. Did you try the ZF?

Company ad to make you buy one, when the one you have can produce the same results.

So expensive.
