Hi there.I worked in a tire retreading plant back in the 80s.We had a small electric oven to keep knives hot and lugs were cut when hot.If your brave enough to experiment, you could maybe heat up the whole tire in a large oven(like a pizza oven) and use hot knives for cutting.just an idea, good luck.
Watched your video on making strut spacers using pvc. Tried it couldn't get the small ass spring to compress far enough. Any ideas on homemade bracket lift? For 350 bruin 2x4
Why not leave the sidewall tread like cut the top tread flat but leave sidewall piece sticking out since they don’t have much to begin with? Regardless amazing video and I subscribed and will share
well they came out looking good and the repair job looks great and i feel your pain with this convid-19 crap on not being able to go and ride tho its hard for me to find places and people to ride with cuz of were i live lol
I have a 1994 Honda 300 4x4 bone stock that I got out of a field and I want to make it capable to run 28” azteks, what’re some basic things that I need to do to accomplish this? I’m also planning on doing your snorkel with the pool tubing
@@MudPuppyOffroad i was just wondering i have 2020 rancher and i swamped bouta month ago and it started to smoke a little so if honda doesn't do there magic(not gonna tell them its been swamped) im gonna big bore it
Less weight equals higher tire rpm. Easier on the engine to spin the tires while in thick nasty stuff. Plus they’ll clean out better with the extra spacing between the lugs
Agreed he needs more likes and views nobody else does this and goes in depth
“My method for cutting tires and getting carpal tunnel” 😂
I cut a set of boggers to the cords between all lugs for my jeep to get them limber, tires never did fail.

Supremely underrated channel
But at the same time it’s a community
You could have twisted the wire a few strands and it would have had more strength and be able to hold more heat
Do u have the link for the tires or where did u buy them?
where would i even find these tires
Try NiCd or stainless with the wire. McMaster should cary a half beer can of stainless.

I been riding more since covid19.
Have you tried using a blade in that hot knife like a smooth jig saw blade or razor blade and get it up to temp ?
Really send blades don't have the heat capacity. Nice for shaving dirt bike tires but not for cutting off big ATV nobbies
Maybe twisting a few pieces of that wire together with a drill they would hold up better and actually cut better but who knows
Resistance would get too low
I was scouring you page for this. Thanks for posting. How do they perform compared to outlaws/silverbacks after cutting?
They pull about is hard on the talon need to test on ATVs. They Ride like crap though and still pretty heavy compared outlaws

35% reduction
What kind of tires are those?
Would this not throw the balance of the tire way off??
Off road ATV tires are not balanced anyways
where can I get these tires?
What do you film with and use for editing?
GoPro 8 pixel 4 and osmo action
What would my offset be on a Honda 300 with 30” Aztex?
2 + 5 rear 5 + 2 front
Where do you recommend getting rims at I can’t find 14” rims with that offset
Zachary Altman spacers
@@zacharyaltman534 itp hurricanes or tornadoes
Yes itp legacy 589s
What is your opinion on the turner crossbone tires?
No experience with them
Mud Puppy okay just wanted to check with you first before I purchase
Were the 2020 at
Have you done that 520 bigbore yet
I just bought a 520 way better
@@MudPuppyOffroad i was just wondering i have 2020 rancher and i swamped bouta month ago and it started to smoke a little so if honda doesn't do there magic(not gonna tell them its been swamped) im gonna big bore it
whats the reason behind doing this ?????
Save weight, and mud will clear itself out much easier. Just a little tuning to be more purpose specific
Hey I have a Honda 300 Fourtrax with 54 percent gear reduction and when I put it in gear it slowly drives off any suggestions to fixing that ?
Slower your idle
It’s running about normal so I don’t think it’s that could it be something with clutch
Only thing that could cause that is the bushings inside your gear reduction going bad
Mud Puppy oh ok thx it’s brand new so I guess we just got to mess around with it
So what is the benefit of cutting mud tires?
Less weight more traction in thick mud

Could you make a video of breaking beads? I used to have the harbor freight bead breaker and couldn’t get it to work.
That's what I use sometimes you got to work around the tire loosen it up
I think I saw a few videos about that thing a while ago, give it a search.
👍📽
Hi I have a 300 2x4 I wanna do a 4x4 swap do u have a tip
Sell it and get a 4x4
Mud Puppy bout to say same thing 🤣🤣
Would be easier to cut if they were wet
Front tires look way toed out
Toe out will give a better turning circle, hard on tires though.
Or should I get a 420
Tire wise what would you suggest for my Honda Foreman 450 no lift
Carter Chance what kinda riding do you do
