Gem & Pack Farming With a Budget Deck - Can We Win A Standard Event With It - Azorius Artifacts

If you don't have all the wild cards you want or the gems you need I think your best bet on Arena is to do Standard Events. Instead of taking hours climbing the ladder, you can get some gems and packs in standard events. Last time I showed the best aggro decks to get seven wins in standard events and this time I will show some control, midrange, aggro builds and for this one, I will show a budget deck that has no rares except for lands.

Standard event is very fun to watch
I love them so much more than normal videos so glad others like them. It makes me want to spend more of my time doing them for videos.
Got hooked with your videos because of standart event content. I started doing events because of you so I love this content that keeps the decks cheap but competitive

Thank you for that. I like to explain what I'm thinking because I think it helps. Not saying my thoughts or lines of play are right but hearing what others think helps and you can think of what you would do and why. It is why I love to hear others insights and when they mention I should have done x,y or z. Often we get into a certain line of thinking and expanding that helps me get better.

It can get some explosive games and will be very match-up dependent but that is the case with budget decks. You won't get one ready for everything in the meta.
If you keep this quality of content up, you'll be racking in those subscribers pretty quickly.
Thanks. I'm trying to do a mix of decks for these events but I guess some don't like budget or think I'm rigging it somehow to do with this deck. I'm surprised as well with six wins on it but that is how events can go. Glad you enjoyed it. I really have fun with artifacts and aggro so this one was right up my alley and a deck I've played but just made budget.
Well you got me back into standard events, and i've had pretty solid results as well. So while I get that people might think you're rigging it somehow - here is at least one comment saying you're not!

Nice deck Ace I do love the solid 20 land deck I know it wasn't easy to come up with a standard deck like that. I know I always bring up grixis but I have been playing with a sultai deck that has been doing alright it's almost got me into diamond so not mythic level if you are curious I could send it your way but if not I get it it kind of just a value pile deck but has a lot of fun cards in it

I played this deck last night and I gotta say, the Restless Anchorage should be some sort of split between that and Adarkar Wastes.
In the budget version, I found it was so key to have those resless anchorage because we run out of power, unlike the nonbudget version. They were key for me but yes them coming in tapped is rough.

Looking for a new deck for farming when.. budget is not an issue. You mentioned you will try to come up with one that is Black belt yet faster than the previous one (WUR Control). Well, I hope it's the next one! :)
Have a midrange that people wanted for Monday and a combo for Wednesday that people asked for. I'm editing them now because will be out of town till Wednesday. Then I will have to think of a good aggro one to win fast again. I'm liking trying lots of styles for the events but know long term we need those decks that will get the job done fast.

Originally had him for the help to solve the case and warden of the inner sky but when I went budget could not use warden so did not see the point. Wanted other evasive creatures instead.
How do you so consistently get easy opponents in those events??? Whenever I do them every opponent is mono red on the play or convoke and they always draw ridiculously well. Even the first few games I never see anything except aggro on the play
See my experience with events is a few top tier decks, some brews and in early rounds a few decks that are just not top of the meta. At times I've had 7 wins against 7 killer decks that were all top tier like going on the ladder but from my experience the more experienced players don't do events much.
Are you doing some new tournament? You could invite lets say bobibrews, filipa or capricorn. All have nice decks and filipa is cute 😅
Maybe in the summer. Those take so much to put together and organize. Then all the editing is about ten times that of a normal video. When I get some time I'd love to again and you gave a few already on my radar. Now if they will answer when I ask will be the other question.

The reason a budget deck don’t appear is because they won’t preform well. You might get some wins, but 7 is INCREDIBLY rare. Top tier decks don’t get 7 wins regularly, good luck with budget.. I don’t know how many events you played to get this footage, and I think you got incredible draws and opponents. There is no way you can play this any amount of events and expect to come out ahead..
Nobody really expects this kind of bullshit so you can snag some wins and this deck is very fast if you draw well. Michiko itself can just end the game.
Very true on match-up dependent. That will always be the case with budget decks. Can't go budget and expect to be ready for everything in the meta. Opponents and draws are always the case with events.
Well said. It is about the speed this deck can go at. Of course, you can draw bad and are not fast enough and then without the rares we don't have the over-the-top to finish them. @@DX100HHH
what you mean to say is that YOU can't. Ace is a far better player than you are - on his worst day. Ace could get 5 wins with any one of the starter decks, and that's all a player needs to go infinite. The reason YOU can't get 7 wins with a "top tier" deck is that you're a bronze level player, that's all.
@@pjm3005 I agree with everything you said except that I’m bronze. I craft my own decks up to platinum. Usually have to net deck to get to mythic.
