15-year-old Sheldon Blecher is overweight, with a self-destructive driving instructor father and pyromaniac mother who never quite seem to fit into their community. His egotistical failed-actor brother has just returned home and taken up residence in his bedroom after marking the territory. His family business is on its way down the toilet, and under investigation for tax evasion. AND, on top of all this, he lives in Winnipeg.

Just wow. What an amazing finale. Best characters, best comedy...truly an outstanding series. It is a tragedy that people are unaware of this show.

I quickly became hooked and binge watched every episode! A random search of Maury Chaykin brought me to the show. Sheldon and Jim are both real mensches. Miriam transforms so magnificently from caterpillar to butterfly when those braces come off. Glad the Season 1 subplot of Anne being a pyromaniac was abandoned. Clara deserves love, and I want to be the one who gives it to her. (But why does she still have Jack's baby with her?) Josh you goofy tool, the solar system does kind of revolve around you after all haha. Thanks Breakthrough Entertainment and thanks YT! Winnipeg is obviously too darn cold. Brrrr. Cling to each other for warmth my dears!
