I call my black cat (my second adopted) my mini black panther - he is beautiful and though a rescue cat with a heavy past, he just loves having his tummy rubbed !!!
I rescued 2 cats (brothers) 1 pure black & other striped. My black cat is super lovable. Seagram eyes in daylight & golden yellow at night. Both cats are pure joy. He is stunning in pictures. My advice always adopt a rescue cat. They all deserve a loving home❤️
I have two black cats I adopted a few years ago from a local rescue. One was 7 years old and had been at the rescue for 5 years! I just had to adopt her when I heard she had been there so long.
Our black cat’s eyes vary from green to pale jade. Her name is Onyx aka Nixie and she’s one of 4 black cats we’ve had over the years 52 years😂. In fact, almost every cat we’ve ever had has had fur that was partly black. Except for 2 gray tuxedos.
My black cat has yellow eyes and very dark black sometimes he has a blue tint to his fur I got him from Cat Protection he drives me crazy sometimes but I won’t be without him he’s my baby 🌟🌟🌟🥰
I've always had at least one black cat. Actually, my latest black cat wandered onto my property out here in the country/woods about a month ago. I'd talk to him when I'd meet him outside, asking him where he lived. He'd just look me in the eyes as if he had some huge secret. He got along with my other cats from day one, as if he'd been born along with them. They'd share their food with him and even snuggle with him. Fast forward, no one has posted anything around here that they're missing their black cat, nor has anyone answered my many online posts showing pictures of him. So, yep... we now once again have a black panther in the gang. He is actually brownish black with deep glowing yellow eyes. I know from my previous black cats over the years, that a few of them would turn a brown shade during the summer, and go back to sleek pitch black during the winter. He has the faintest squeak of a meow and is very loving and gentle. I know he must have belonged to someone. He wouldn't be so tame, well behaved and loving if he would have been a "wild" cat. But until I find who he belongs to, or who he "owns", I'll be taking care and loving him along with the rest of my cats and dog.
I have noticed that black fur on cats and dogs is actually dark red, shows up best when the sunlight passes through it. It actually caught me by surprise, I expected to see black.
Three black brothers, litter mates. Born to a ragdoll owned by a very religious family. These poor little jellybeans were called satanic and demonic. They're five years old and fairly big. And adorable. Arfur, Clawde and Spock.
I have four black cats one of them is long haired and the front part of her the front half and her head is red and the rest of her is black😊 she is so cool looking

We just went to the shelter and adopted 2 beautiful black cats....now i have to get them used to my two twelve yr old cavoodles❤
