  • In most parts of the world, the methods of dating and marriage have changed dramatically over the past 4000 years. Arranged marriages, family involvement and dowries are foreign to our culture where online dating is becoming the norm. As we consider the way Isaac and Rebekah were brought together, we will discover timeless principles to apply to the modern dating game. We'll also uncover a deeper spiritual message as we examine the foundations of their relationship.
This teaching is from our series Genesis - 2009 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.

Skip do you have weekly Bible studies online so people in other countries can join? I am from the UK and would love to be in a Bible study with you so we can ask questions. I love your teaching you make it so easy to follow, please if you could let me know that would be a blessing. P.S I met you at the Billy Graham event in Sheffield, I shook your hand, you were with your wife and another brother. Bless you

Thank you for this teaching. I think it could be a teaching called TRUST. Abraham trust his servant to chose a bride, Rebecca trust the servant, Rebecca’s family trust the servant and Rebecca. Together they all trust God
    Abraham
    The servant
    Rebecca
    Rebecca family
    Isaac
Sad to say I don’t my own family! I am in my 60’s and don’t trust my kids, family. I trust my wife only!
    That’s it!

You can pay CZcams so you will not have to watch commercials.
His teaching makes up for any interruptions. I have learned so much with these series.

So mistaken. Jesus came to show the perfect husband who laid his life for her. Protects and covers her. Not take advantage of her. Very mistaken interpretation that the men who sit while the wife is doing the hard work is doing the right thing. Go figure why aisaac obeyed to death? If he is the copy of Jesus don't you think he became eleigible to become a husband because he was willing to ibey His Fathwr to death. God made Jesus lay his life for his bride.
