John Piper is absolutely right that none of us will achieve sinless perfection in this life.
For example, in James 3:2 James writes:
'For we all stumble in many ways.'
Stumbling in this verse refers to committing unpremeditated sins of short duration. And James is clear that all Christians do a lot of this.

When we have God words and the Holy spirit in our heart our conscience becomes good free from evil. Thanks much God bless you.

I hope you've been saved, here are some verses that can help:
"if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9
"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13

This reminds me of the pieces on Isaiah 64:6 that John Piper, Michael Kruger, and Kevin DeYoung have all written (they are all online). Sometimes the idea of all our good being as filthy rags is misused by some to justify sin and remaining in sin, since, they would say, no one can ever do anything good. It's used to promote moral relativism in churches. This APJ episode speaks against that with the idea that you can walk in the light and have a clean conscience.

It has to be right that having a good conscience is very different from being aware of indwelling sin.

help us Lord to always see ourselves for how sinful we are but also to rely on your spirit to battle our sin like we should so we can have a good conscience

And another point here is to deal with are sin is to walk with a good conscience

Jesus is the Light. The Light has no darkness, neither does he have any shadow of turning. Jesus does in fact call for sinless perfection, telling us to be perfect as our Father is perfect. I wouldn't want go tell anyone that they haven't actually escaped sin, they've just gotten rid of most of it, so now they can just say that they have no sin. By their own standards, they are unable to accomplish what it is they propagate, freedom and a wall unimpeded life.

Are you living in fear of losing your salvation?
If yes, this will be the most critical 60 seconds of your life.
Many church members today are taught to believe the false teaching that once you’re saved, you must maintain your salvation through good works, or by not being “bad”.
This deceptive teaching has many God loving church goers living in absolute fear of going to hell because they falsely believe that they can lose their salvation.
Again, this is absolutely unbiblical and a false teaching,
So what does the Bible say? Can you really lose your salvation?
    John 10:28
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
    Ephesians 4:30
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Clearly scripture says you can never lose your salvation. This is fantastic news for many who feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off their shoulders when they learn this.
But unfortunately there are still people who learn of this truth and insist that what their religion taught them is the authority, rather than making God’s word the authority.
So, I’ve decided to put a short true story here for anyone who’s doubting what I’ve said…
A female church goer (name concealed for privacy) said she’d been living in condemnation for so long because she was in a marriage where her husband would beat her black & blue.
And whenever she told her church she was going to file for divorce, they told her she would go to hell if she divorced.
As a result of the church lying to her, she lived in constant depression, despair and even turned away from God at one point.
Until she found Gregg Jackson’s ministry. He’s well known for helping people like her to stop living in fear, and learn what the Bible really says. Here’s what she said after watching several of Gregg’s videos on CZcams…
“Tonight I cried. I’m crying right now because now I know for sure that my Lord sealed my salvation and I’m His forever!!!!
Thank you my brother. The weight of condemnation has been lifted off my soul. I can’t wait to share this with my friends and family that live under that false condemnation.”

Soooooo, please tell me she filed for divorce? So tired of people thinking divorce is a sin when God used it against His own people and Jesus allowed it for immorality. Abuse is pretty immoral.
