It’s a dev testing room. Basically it’s where they were testing the lighting as it hits different surfaces and the sphere is just a texture applied to a sphere, again for testing most likely. This allows the devs to test things in there without having to create an entirely new level to load and work in. Pretty cool find!

It may be some light testing rooms that save several light & texture imaging within the secret room. Since the game engine is based on source, and I've seen a lot of cs map makers like to make rooms like this a lot, I assume this secret room might share the same feature with them.

The sphere is being used on voidwalker/phasewalker helmet on its reflection. If u have both or one of these skin u can check it urself when u are choosing skins for ur wraith.
Ok so the sphere is the games reflections the wall ramp thing was most likely the wall run testing area that was in titanfall but was cut in apex and the light might be how they tested lighting
You can actually find this room outside the map still and can almost reach it but sadly there's an invisible wall that stops you with no way (from what I myself have tested) inside the room.
I know that sphere. It was also a weird bug for the lobby you could like see it an everything. That’s what I know of it but the rest I’m not so sure about or what purpose is serves.
