  • Set to HD for best Viewing! After checking the weather, and making the decision to drive the 110 mile journey, we loaded up on an early Tuesday morning and headed north along the CN Waukesha sub. On our way up, we stopped off just outside Burlington, WI, at North End Nestle for CN Q196-91, with a surprise of an NS GE duo. After that we followed our course without anymore interruptions and made it Bryon, WI, at the CN Hot spot Byron Hill, we captured a loaded Frac Sand train heading south which was likely U778-81, which was not noted in the video. After that we slowly made our way down the hill and saw a few more southbounds in the process, one being M348 (Noted as incorrectly as M384 in the video) with a Tier 4 leader of CN 3003, which he had seen 2 times earlier that week. After these trains, we headed into Fond du Lac and set up at Valley, or the North end of Byron Hill. We captured L508 with a vintage power duo of two GP9RM locomotives which was the highlight of the day. After that we began home and stopped of near Sussex to see X349, today carrying all potash empties and with foreign power, which today was two CSX GE's that somehow made it past CN's Schiller park, where power is usually swapped to CN. Last we stopped off at Duplainville interlocking, where we saw the Waukesha local, also known as L504 making it's way north and running light as the power was GTW 5856, one of few GTW Operation Lifesaver GP38-2's left. With that our adventure was over and we headed for home! As always, Enjoy! and if you like what you see, why not hit that Subscribe button to stay tuned for future content!
