@@Slurpified as far as we know for now we will get all the rooms + a lot of the in between stuff that was never explicitly mentioned in the books. Their version of Hogwarts is absolutely enormous (especially compared to the castle from the movies). We have also seen the forbidden forest already, the only major place that we are missing (and was around in time setting of the game) is Diagon Alley.
You know, when a co-worker of mine who isn't that interested in HP is really looking forward to this game, you're doing it right.
I really hope that you're going to be able to play this on the new psvr2.

The DualSense is excellent. Its surprising how much it adds to immersion
Except for shooters. I don't need to feel resistance everytime I want to fire a gun. I play my Shooter games on Xbox anyways but if they added an option to customize what things you could feel with the dualsense, that would be a great addition.

@@route77productions you can customize it in the settings or turn it off but it’s really up to the developers on how they utilize it… some don’t do a great job with it
@@Cobweb404 Did you even read my comment? My issue is not with the triggers, it's the use of trigger resistance when only playing Shooter games. I don't wish to turn it off, I want the option to disable the specific things I don't want to feel.
I'd want to feel a bow and it's resistance, I don't want to feel resistance when firing a gun. These things should be customizable, not just a simple (turn off trigger haptic feedback)

Maybe are stupid and little details, but this is what players want and love to feel! It's those small amount of details that makes us wanna play more and feel the game much more enjoyable.

Dualsense controller is still my favourite thing about PS5 so far, the haptic feedback has made my experience so much better as silly as it sounds, but games like returnal and demons souls it just made it so much more like i was sucked into the game
I haven't tried it with those games but I have used it with others. It's been amazing with Forbidden West, and especially Ratchet and Clank.
Don't forget Astro's Playroom. That game is a brilliant introduction to the hardware and controller

Even not being a huge Harry Potter fan. Seeing the passion and effort the devs have put into this game in that gameplay trailer has me extremely interested. This game hands down looks incredible, and I hope we are kept updated as the release date approaches.

I love the sneak peak of the other house corridors… I’m super excited for this game. Saving all my vacation days to use on release day 😅
There are so few games that make use of the dynamic lightbar on Dual Sense and when they use it, it is only used sparingly. The only exception is Borderlands 3 which has their own color for any type of weapon and it really adds to the immersion. I hope to see it more!
I would’ve bought it on my series X but the feel of using spells on ps5 controller is way more fun than better performance I’ll definitely get it on Ps5

My thoughts exactly. From the trailers, It looks like the devs really put a lot of heart and dedication into bringing the world of magic to life, it is clearly different than the majority of bland copy-and-paste open-world games that a lot of publishers produce nowadays. Can't wait to get my hands on this game and explore what it has to offer!

@@cyberwriter21 yes I did! It was amazing. But it was specifically designed to sell the haptics. I wanna see 3rd party games utilise the feature otherwise it might just become gimmicky and phase out.

Have you played many PS5 games? The list of games that don't use haptic controller support is much smaller than the list of games that do at this point.
@@corey_massey I've played a bunch, not saying they don't use it but for some of them it's not really used very often or to much effect. Astro showed its full potential and I'd like to see that in more games otherwise it seems like a wasteful feature.

Will the haptic feedback work on PC for this game?
To some people it might feel gimmicky, but the level of immersion the Dualsense envelops me in when I play games that integrate it is such a great feature of the PS5. Dimming the lights, turning on surround sound, feeling the controller react to the gameplay, hearing in game sounds come out from the microphone, its an amazing feeling. From what I'm seeing here, it looks like its gonna be another crazy immersive experience
Thats not a gimmick, its called immersion and games aim for that feeling you are describing.
The only problem I have with this title, immersion-wise, is the camera position and angle. It's so heavily skewed to the right of the character, it breaks immersion for me. I wish they did it like Elden Ring / Dark Souls, where the camera is directly behind the character's hitbox so everything feels even.
This is why I’d buy most cross platform games on PS5. The experience is just so much better!

Souls games camera always take me out of it, lol. Every other major AAA third person game leverages dynamic camera movement/positioning.
@@Alex_Logan22 Oh really? lol huh. I guess I'm in the minority of 3rd person camera perspectives. I just don't like how tactically, you can't see as much environment on your left as you can on your right. My pal tried to get me into Fortnite and I couldn't get into it for that exact reason. With the camera positioned far to the right of your character, corner peeking is uneven. When peeking around a corner to your left, you'll have a far wider vantage than looking around a corner to your right, cause your character is in the way.
For some reason though, I don't mind the Resident Evil 4 and RE2 remake camera angles... maybe because the limited sight plays well into a horror game.
The dual sense and 3d audio are just on another level

Every game I've played that utilized the haptics of DualSense really increased immersion (Returnal, Demon's Souls, R&C, etc.). It's far from a gimmick!
On non shooter games, it feels great. On multiplayer games it's not ideal.

@@Fablemaner that explains why the controllers are sometimes out of stock when so few own a ps5. Even games not supporting the new haptics get a far better “rumble” than a DualShock or Xbox controller.
@@dhirendrasahay It's down to the devs, but the bigger ones all seem to be programming the Dualsense functionality into their PC games. Smaller ones seem to be a bit more luck of the draw.

I have to say, I've never been a fan of Harry Potter games having only ever played Chamber of Secrets on the GameCube (loved the films and yes I'm sorry I haven't read the books) but this looks absolutely stunning. I would actually love to try this out now I've got my hands on a PS5. Next-gen has gotten to the point where you can't make out real-life from digital graphics which is awesome!
Man, it's been a loooong time since Chamber of Secrets on the GameCube...I used to play this on PC, but I also have the GameCube version. Especially 0:33 reminds me of the old days...Chamber of Secrets has been my personal favourite apart from Order of the Phoenix on the Wii.
Chamber of Secrets is generally considered the best.
But harry potter and the chamber of secrets on the game is a GREAT game and so are the rest and ESPECIALLY Prisoner of Azkaban for the gamecube which is a fantastic game to play!

This game is going to be amazing. Game of the year. Slytherin house is the best. I wish I could have worked on this game. The combat reminds me of Dragon's Dogma RPG game by Capcom. That was the best RGP game I ever played. I liked it better than Skyrim. I heard Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally coming as well. I am going to do my own playthrough of Hogwarts Legacy.

That's so great the devs thought about using so many different haptic feedbacks! It gives so much more to a video game and yet are so underused. I can't wait to play it!!!
Underused?? Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, ratchet&clank, Returnal, miles morales, Batman games, Horizon, Grand Turismo 7, Maneater all use haptic feedback in many different ways. You need to play more PS5 games if you think there underusing the haptic feedback!

yal think theres gonna be spell mods for PC? I garuntee there will be blood mods pretty early on but I think theres a heavy chance of spell mods maybe a few months into the release. not to mention the clothing mods cuz I dont really see any dark wizard robes or anything so far...
