The Dark Shadows Cast Reunion that saved Halloween of 2020. I / we are all so very grateful for this interview. It was so sentimental and informative. So very sorry about the technical issues for Mr. Henesy. Maybe his being so far away in Central America made the connection harder? How lovely that Henesy thought enough of the memories and fellow actors to have introduced his daughter to the group. That was very sweet. Jerry Lacy was not there. We hope he is well, he and his wife actress Julia Duffy. I / we loved all the memories and the insights that were shared.
I was surprised at first that they never interviewed him on those DVDs but being a restaurant owner that’s justifiable to say that he probably just didn’t have time. Great to see him though and such a great young actor.
@@crabbymilton390 When those MPI actor interviews were made, I believe that Mr. Henesy had already relocated to South America and then to Panama , Central America where he settled. He married down there and had five kids.

Lara Parker played the uncredited role of David Bruce Banner's wife in the pilot of the Incredible Hulk.
I was so excited to see her in that car at the beginning, and then...you know what happened. SO really, she was the reason for him becoming the Hulk! He couldn't save her so he started the experiment!
Also Lara Parker played the beautiful fashion model / Witch in an episode of The Night Stalker called "The Trevi Collection" she was beautiful in that episode and in all of her TV appearances, Kojak and Barretta , Switch, Hawaii 5-0, Quincy, also she was in the movie Race with the Devil with Peter Fonda , Loretta Swift.
@@thejupiter2574 RWTD scared the crap outta me when I was a kid in the 70s. Whenever we would go camping I would think about this movie, hoping we didn't stumble upon a satanic ritual in the woods!!! Ha good times.
Well I couldn't stand Angelique because of what she did to all of Barnibas' family and his happiness! Even his baby sister.

David Henesy was a great child actor. His maturity in that role was extraordinary.
It was much better than I thought possible, loved every moment. This is the closest to having a Dark Shadows Festival Panel Discussion that we will have, loved see David Henesy & Mitchell Ryan, it was all a treat.

It was wonderful to see each if them again. It is hard to believe so many yrs have gone by. It just goes to prove time waits for no one. RIP to all of actors and actresses no longer with us. ❤️❤️
I was born in 61 and was one of those kids that ran home from school to sit with my mother every afternoon and watch all of you wonderful people. Now I am nearly 60 and am undertaking the task of breaking up my parents long time home. In the evenings I've been watching dark shadows episodes and during the day I sort through boxes and cabinets and look at things and see just how much the set and the characters of dark shadows influence my parents taste and home decorations and clothing that lasted until they both passed from this world. I have found so many wonderful things that I can actually go back to any specific episode and point out the same exact object on your set. It's remarkable and totally a coincidence that I happen to be watching dark shadows from beginning to end at this point in time. But it is definitely made the experience of looking through my parents belongings a much more tender and enjoyable project.

I am nerding out so hard.
I first got heavily into dark shadows during an illness that kept me housebound for almost a year-
and now the worlds turned upside down and they're all stuck inside too.
Unfortunate, that NERD has come to mean fan of sci-fi, comics or cult underground.
Love to Mitchell Ryan, who had a very honest moment during this reunion. Dear Mr. Ryan, you were never ill, just human, and a beautiful human being at that. Love and Health to All!
Love to Mitch Ryan from me and my wife - Remember All Burke (Mitch) in the Very First episode of Dark Shadows - He was the show in the first year if you ask us - All the Ladies loved him and I loved his relationship with David - He called him affectionately Davey Boy!!

David Hennesy was the one actor who always remembered his lines. 'Maggie' didn't explain why 'Barnabas' kept them employed for 4 years. The show had lousy ratings and they decided 'what the heck, let's try something unusual. let's have a vampire.' And the rest is history.
Loved this show! We live in CT and we recently visited Joan Bennett’s grave.
As a lifelong fan I am so proud to see these people so many years later. So many comments reflect my own actions and feelings. I made a scrapbook at 14 and wrote a play at 11, have the recordings and the coffin collection of dvds. Love Dark Shadows!
David Henesy has 'five' kids. He and his wife are business partners and owned and operated a few high end restaurants down in Panama city in Central America. It sounded as if they had to close down one or more restaurants because of the COVID virus reaching out and affecting all parts of the world.
What a treat! Like so many, I remember running home after school to watch! Watching today brought back so many memories. Thank you to the organizers and each the actors for taking part, and to all the staff and actors that are no longer with us. It’s really extraordinary that over 50 years later Dark Shadows lives on!
I too hurried home after school to watch. When I went through chemotherapy in 2013 my daughter purchased the complete DVD series for me to watch. It was uplifting for me on the really bad days. Dark Shadows Forever. Bless them all .
I agree! It's funny now when I think back i.owe a lot to dark shadows. I, too,ran every night I found I also loved running and joined the track team when I entered high school. I also went to college on an athletic scholarship. I owe a lot to Dark shadows!

Thank you all for show casing this amazing live Zoom collaboration. I met Kathryn Leigh Scott at the 1998 DS Festival in Las Vegas, and I believe I had the pleasure meeting James Storm, Roger Davis, Laura Parker, Marie Wallace, etc. Everybody was so friendly and gracious. I also had the rare chance to see and meet the late Jonathan Frid in Crawfordsville, Indiana in 1999 for his one man's reader's theater. I also had the wonderful chance to briefly interview Nancy Barret in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. I was so young, and naturally, I was inexperienced and brought my friend as my stenographer since she could write faster than I could. I have many beautiful, wonderful 35mm photos and memories. 😊 I truly enjoyed tuning in and watching this on Halloween night. Stay safe everybody.
I kick myself every time I see someone mention Jonathan's one man shows. He came to my town with 2 of them, theater literally just blocks away from my house and I didn't go. I guess at that time, I thought of both myself and Jonathan as immortal. In a way he is.
@@SOLE2SOUL yep, as did I. That's awesome that he was just blocks away from you. I would have seen him anyway had I the chance. I didn't get to go to New York back in, I think, in 1997 or 98' since my parents forbid me from traveling alone and I would have been about 22 or 23 years old at the time. I went to see him with a bunch of fellow DS fans and we drove all the way to Indiana. Such a long drive, then we stayed at the Lou Wallace Inn, which was in walking distance from the high school where Jonathan was preforming. It was a great honor to have met him and get my picture taken with him. He was extremely gracious, very old worldly with manners of a true gentleman (rare to find nowadays), and down to earth. I was quite impressed by his Shakespearean reading, and he threw in some Edgar Allen Poe as well. I believe the performance was on Oct. 27th or the 29th (very close to Halloween), the perfect time of year. I know that my late Fiance wanted to meet Jonathan in 2001 (we had the tickets and planned our trip to go see him), but 9/11 tragically happened so we stayed home. I refunded my late Fiance for his share of the ticket and the travel expenses, but he was so bummed out. And naturally so. Jonathan Frid was his favorite actor from the original series. My late Fiance and I would dress up like Barnabas and Josette every year on Halloween. We never won any costume contests, but did enter as many as we could, had a blast, and then we'd go home and watch hammer horror movies starring Christopher Lee, House of Dark Shadows, DS episodes, and eat popcorn until the wee hours. I miss both Jonathan and my late Fiance. I'm extremely thankful that both incredible men were able to touch my life so profoundly like they had, especially since my late Fiance passed away suddenly from a heart attack in 2019.

Oh my goodness. It's great to see Lara, Kathryn and Nancy, Roger and David!!! Lara's beauty is incredible. I'm so happy that everyone is doing well. I wish Roger good health.
I HAVE LOVED DS SINCE THE FIRST DAY IT AIRED AND I WAS 7 YEARS OLD. I LOVED THE CAST AND THE FACT THAT THEY KEPT THE CAST MEMBERS PLAYING MANY CHARACTERS. ANGELIQUE WAS MY FAVORITE LADY ON THE SHOW, BUT MY FAVORIE ACTOR I CANNOT SAY. I LOVED BRUNO, QUENTIN, BARNABAS, WILLIE, BURKE, ROGER AND BEN STOKES/COUNT PETOFFI IE.THAYER. MISSING REVEREND TRASK, VICKY & DAPHNE TONIGHT. ONE OF THE GREATEST CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF MY LIFE, RUNNING HOME FROM SCHOOL WITH MY GIRLFRIENDS TO WATCH DARK SHADOWS. THANK YOU FOR LETTING YOUR FANS BE A PART OF THIS, SEEING YOUR FACES WAS LIKE SEEING A DEAR CHILDHOOD FRIEND.
All of these wonderful people were a part of my childhood. It was great to see them all again. Hope they periodically do something like this again. As a nine year old, I would be watching DS downstairs in my den listening to screaming and loud dramatic music playing while my mother would be upstairs in the kitchen yelling down at me to, “GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY!” P.S. I don’t think most people on Zoom understand that no two people can talk at the same time. It cuts the audio and then you’re left with audio cutting in and out. If you remind folks that you have to talk one at a time, it makes the show flow better.

Lara Parker has aged very gracefully! She's still so pretty! Kathryn Scott is also another one who aged so well. David Henesy looks so old! I've never seen him any other way than on the old Dark Shadows, as a 12 year old boy. David Selby looks good! I'm sorry that Jonathan Frid and John Carlin had passed away and couldn't be there! I got into Dark Shadows when I was a teenager and it aired on tv thanks to my mom growing up watching you guys. As soon as I learned Dark Shadows was on Amazon, I binged watched it from the very beginning in nostalgic memory for my mom. You all are amazing. Thank you all for Dark Shadows ❤️🖤❤️🖤

Lara was still so beautiful even in her 80s. I only just heard about her passing today after several weeks. I've spent many hours rewatching those classic episodes from the 60s.

OMG!! I was and still am a big,big fan of Dark Shadows !! Now, that I am an adult, I have caught up on episodes that I missed or didn't understand as a kid. Never, in a million years I thought I would be holding a T.V. in the palm of my hands watching and replaying what I missed or didn't understand. I definitely have a deep APPRECIATION for this Classic Soap Opera !! And to the Director, Producers, Writers and Actors, Thanks to all of you for bringing this wonderful classic to life !! This is really neat as someone who just became a fan in the last ten years or so and I know a lot of people don't like the Johnny Depp movie The Dark Shadows but that's what brought me to be original show and it's really cool to see all the cast

I loved the show as a teen. Never saw it all but have been watching starting at ep 1 and am now on ep 891! This reunion is great to see! Lara and Kathryn!!! Marie too!! Always a David Selby fan. Falcon Crest! Nancy was great as Pansy! I wish Alexandra had attended (loved Victoria Winters). So great to see all of you!

I really enjoyed and appreciated watching the reunion. I watch Dark Shadows in Amazon Prime. I didn't watch but a few shows when I was younger. Me and David Hennesey were born in 1956.
Glad to see the Shadows Gang still going that show left a big impression on my childhood even though i was watching reruns it still came on after school
@Willie James you can see all of the reruns from the Dark Shadows TV show now on streaming services like Tubi TV .com and IMDB and Amazon Prime and Plex TV , some episodes are on Pluto TV and the Decades Channel but those two sites, channels dont have all five years of the show like the others do.
I watched this when it went out livem, and I'm enjoying it all over again over a yera later. What a show! What a fanbase! What a collection of talented lovely people.

I was too young (8 yrs old) when the show aired on TV. As an older adult I’m so glad that an iconic show will inspire the next generation. Thank you for the memories ❤️ 🧛

So many talented people in this Video. I grew up with "Dark Shadows" I absolutely loved it,I was in School and raced home(if that's possible on a bus!) Barnabas Collins was my favorite character until Quentin Collins showed up. He start out as a ghost which David Selby"s performance even scared me. I still watch it today,I am 62 now. To all of those people who could not be here to take part in this, RIP 😔 God bless the fallen actors/actresses who made "Dark Shadows" a great show along with the remaining cast members too . Thank You so much for making my childhood so worthwhile. I will never forget John Karlen, Jonathan Frid, Denise Nickerson,Grayson Hall,Joan Bennett,Louis Edmonds,Thayer David,and all of the others I did not mention,but will always be in my thoughts and prayers,also in my ❤️ Rest in peace,my friends,I did not know any of you personally,but it felt like I did, and Chris Pennock,(Jeb Hawkes, Cyrus Longworth, Sebastian Shaw,and of course, Gabriel Collins!) Il miss you all.

@Perry Strebel If you go to the video website Tubi TV they have all five years of the TV show Dark Shadows posted there for free viewing under two listings including "Dark Shadows The Beginning" which is the Pre Barnabas first year of the show. They have them all there for free with shorter commercials than Amazon has
I was fanatical about the show on its original run… Watched it regularly from 1968 to the final episode which I watched that afternoon in April 1971. I was smiling through this entire presentation. Thank you so very much for doing this and posting it here. I am 65 and still very much appreciate the show and the entire cast.

Love seeing you all, I've already started seeing "Dark Shadows" last night, again, from the start. You all look so great, and all of you have brought much joy into my life with your characters. I was born in 1964, but never got to see the soap until 2012 when I got Hulu, which started at episode 210, then after watching about 150 episodes, I found episodes 1-209 on You Tube, so I put Hulu on hold to catch up to 210, I watched one episode a day for about 4 years, and loved every one of them. I was thinking to myself today, wouldn't it be cool if for about a month to bring the characters back to life on a soap such as "General Hospital." Say in 1971, the Collin's had one last seance that ported your characters into the future (present day) and all of you wound up on General Hospital...Angelique still being a witch with some authority in the hospital and up to no good, Maggie as a nurse, the men as hospital patients in the same/different rooms, Carolyn as a volunteer bringing magazines and a little lightheartedness to the patients, David as a Doctor, Sara as a ghost, Marie running the gift store. All of you have aged this time, and all of you coming to the realization that you have all have entered into the future, but only for one brief moment before returning back to 1971. All of the characters on General Hospital would know you as characters on their soap, not knowing that you all have been transported into the future. Angelique still has her powers, and is still up to no good, will change things on General Hospital, reeking havoc on the soap. David, will be the one to discover a pathway back to 1971, taking all of the Dark Shadow characters back before Angelique can stop him.
