Depends on the playstyle. I think KB-X is more reliable as you can go to a low health ship and torpedo it to guarantee the kill. SR 72 requires to coordinate, having one plane attacking first so the enemy uses flares and then to launch the nukes!

Same. If you using KB-X torp like drop bomb, That is most precision strike. KB-X is strong against no GL ship like Mogami, Aki.
Torp is must kill weapon to them as Foxhoundffx told.
