Today I want to share my go-to easy breezy up-style for formal/semi formal events. This faux hawk only takes about 5 minutes to do and it's as quick as tying your hair up. It looks a lot more intricate and complicated than it is, and that's what I love about it! No one would know how quickly you whipped up your hair. It creates tons of volume and a sleek finish on the sides to create that flattering faux hawk shape that we all love!

If anyone has tips for frizzy hair, please let me know. I tried over and over to do this hairstyle but my hair is just constantly frizzing up and getting tangled and it ends up looking awful. I feel so hopeless sometimes with it.
