Hi! That is a random thermometer from aliexpress. I got it for $1 dollar. I simply looked for something as compact as possible. There are plenty to choose from.

I sold my crf, but li-ion battery is a must have. I have it in my current bike as well. Money well spent.

so how does the lithium battery survive on a different charging system that puts out 13V ?
I thought they needed 14.4V system?
Apparently, they don't. This one is dedicated to motorcycles so there is no other way, but to work OK.
