@5:00 You are absolutely right, for Indian kitchen, where we cook literally every single meal/snack/drink from scratch with fresh ingredients, western minimalist approach of 2-3 cooking pots is not applicable. We do not just make a sandwich from cans and pickle-jam jars or one pot meals. OTOH we don't bake ordinarily so that's where the western and Indian minimalist kitchen essentials differ. The number of pots you have are fairly minimal for the variety of cooking that goes on since morning till night.
Your kitchen is real. This is how we live. Especially in the early part of our lives. Bless you and wish you well. Great efforts at living intentionally. Pleasing, calm, real and orderly.
Yes some ladies mess up their kitchen with too many ceramic pots,wall hangings,sign boards ,planters and what not and end up cleaning these unnecessary clutters the whole day. Unlike yours which looks neat and clean with minimal basic stuffs👍

Great content as always 👏👏 I stay with my in laws and it becomes really challenging to setup the kitchen according to me, but I try...now minimalism is still far from where I see it, but I must say, "stopping others from buying irrelevant stuff" is really difficult for me, specially in laws...I think they are the ones who has more experience and should guide all of us how life becomes easy when you have less..😑😑
I can relate with you 💯.....I have been through that. My in-laws are not minimalist either and it used to bother me. My suggestion to you would be to protect your sanity and let the kitchen be ! You can be minimalist with your own possessions....you can't change people, maybe they will change by observing you!
Absolutely you nailed it! When I observe others' kitchens...they mostly are cluttered cos there is so much stuff ( more than the space) and some of it is total trash but noone throws it away
