My mom was watching this live and she commented that she liked this song a lot. A month later, September 18th, she was gone. She passed away due to covid turning into sepsis. On my way to the hospital the day before she died, this song played on Spotify and the lyrics resonated with me and my situation with my mom. I love you, mom. Rest in peace, I won't let the light go out. Until we meet again

He is amazing live. He can sing along with Whitney Houston and Celine Dion and harmonize even higher just sitting in his chair while streaming from home and it is no effort at all. The beauty just flows out so masterfully. If you look up Brendon Urie’s Cover of Ashes by Celine Dion you’ll see what I mean.

All the other VMA performances relied on effects, dancers, and over-the-top sensual moves, then there's Panic!...just a car, some fireworks, and a man with heavenly voice, and they delivered the best performance of the night. Brendon Urie doesn't need a show, he is the show.

I'm almost 4 weeks post partum after delivering my angel babies. I'm struggling so bad and was having heavy thoughts of ending everything. Then I heard this song and it stopped me in my tracks because it made me think of my husband and how he would feel if I did let the light go out, almost as if he's singing this song to me. He's already lost his unborn sons, I can't make him go through losing his wife too. Something about Brendons voice is very comforting and I can't pin point what it is, but thank God he came out with this song because I literally can't go through with it now.

Panic! at the disco has been my favorite band since 2005, I was ten at that time. I was born and raised Mexico, always crying because they never toured anywhere but the U.S., Canada and some European cities. God knows how many times I prayed for going to a PATD concert. I was able to see them for the first time at the Corona Capital in Mexico City 2018, but it was only a one hour performance. And life gave so many turns, I ended up living in the U.S. And I have tickets for their concert. This song made me realize that my 2005 self is going to watch them live. I cannot put into words what this means to me. They will always be my favorite band in the whole world, and Brendon will forever be my childhood crush, my celebrity crush and my very first crush ever.
