It’s compatible but you would have to find the adapter the plugs into the cars reverse camera connection which converts it to a yellow RCA video so it can be connected to the screen.

The new link in the description is the kit that includes the screen as well. This one is the exact same one that’s in my vehicle with working steering wheel buttons. Perhaps your screen has issues.

Most of the ones on Amazon that are listed for this make and model (2008-2020 Dodge Grand Caravan) come with everything needed, including the frame / bezel and the wiring adapters. Minimal splicing is sometimes needed if you want to use your original backup cam.
Do your dash board speaker work? I installed my setup with an aftermarket harness but i only get sound out of my door and rear speakers. No dash board sound. Or center speaker. Let me know how yours sounds. Thanks.

Hello, yes it will work with your 2017 Dodge Caravan. Does you Van have the rear DVD player? The harness is only if you want it separately but the kit includes everything (Harness+Screen+Hardware).
No additional adapter needed you just have to change the canbus from what ever it’s set to jeep in the canbus settings. If jeep doesn’t work for you try going through the list until it works.

Your OEM Camera can be integrated into the aftermarket screen but it requires a cable that converts the OEM backup Cam wire to RCA which then connects to the aftermarket screen. You will have to source the adapter online. I’m not sure about the Sirius Satellite Radio.

I had issues with the one I installed on the video which is why I did not link that one. I ended up changing it to another one and the 2nd one is currently the good one in the Caravan. The reason why I linked the one on Amazon is because it is more cost effective.

Just got the unit like this and it only works until I turn off my 2016 grand caravan for 5 min. After that my unit not turning on the screen. It stays connected to my iphone, I can play music make calls but screen stays just off. Only way to turn screen back on is to hit reset button but then everything repeats. It stays on until vehicle turns off. Any Idea?
Got installed and worked no problem for 2 days now all I’m getting is a black screen and can’t get it to work at all, tried reset button, unplugged and redid it all and nothing is working just a black screen. Is there a way to fix this :(
So I ended up buying a radio I connected it today but it’s not supporting my steering wheel control do I have to add any other cable. Also this radio does not come with zlink. Do you know if I can access apple car play.
@@RonDIYMods Did you try programming the steering wheel controls? Could be the actual screen itself. It should have Zlink as I ordered the ones I linked and connected them to my Van to make sure it has zlink and everything works fine.
Well with electronics even if it’s brand name you can have issues. I don’t think the Sony one integrates into the old radio location like the one in the video. Ultimately it’s up to you which route you want to go. Good luck.

The one in the video is the original one I installed which turned out to be bad but since then I changed it to a much better model which is working great. New model which is currently sold on website includes wifi and is better overall.

I have a 2019 Caravan....did your Van have the rear screen and if so, does it push output for Netflix, USB input, SD card, etc to the monitor?
Unfortunately, the rear entertainment system is not supported.

They should work out of the box. You may have to change the CANBUS setting if it’s not working. Supplier should be able to help you with that.

It’s not hard as there is a lot of room to work with on the Dodge Caravan. Easy to route the wires around/behind the dash.

It’s best if you contact the manufacturer that you purchased the screen from. Sounds like a wiring issue.

Perhaps it’s an defective screen. Get it replaced.
