Jonatas is monster. He always was good but in Gi at black belt level he couldnt achieve highest level. It seems that no gi is great for him, monstrous pressure

@@akonisensei it’s not easy to sub high level grapplers and sometimes requires control and positional progression first. If he didn’t engage JC’s guard I would agree, but how can you call takedown, guard pass, mount, high mount, stalling. It’s not sub only or there would be no time limit.
He’s good but a little too much stalling for me.
No doubt Gracie is a savage,but his game is more stalling than action.

As you progress you'll use frames, which can reduce the top pressure dramatically. After that, it just becomes normal.

Yes, you get use to getting smashed and you learn how breath under extreme pressure and survive.
Just keep showing up man, it's all in the breathing! As you get more familiar with the positions, you won't panic as often and you would not breathe hard under pressure.
