Looks like the cut is finally starting to heal up! I've also never seen caliper bolts come off so easily 😂

Well, the scar will be there for a long time so the memories will last. Its amazing what a little leverage can do with bolts! Still waiting for you to bring the Caddy in for brakes!

The brackets with the u-bolts are called "moan braces." You can get by without them. If you really want to improve your car, buy the Maximum Motorsports torque-arm, torque-arm springs, and panhard bar. It's such a radical transformation that your car won't feel like a Mustang. Very controllable at the limit of grip.

1000% - THANK YOU for the comment! You are correct - the MM T/A is next on the list. I didnt originally get it because of the welding requirement and I had already spent a lot of money on the suspension. The car already has MM panhard bar, MM lower control arms, and a Torsen T4R diff with a 3.55 gear ratio. Maximum Motorsports recommends that if you are NOT going to run their T/A with the their panhard bar, that you run OEM upper control arms and bushings and I did just that. However, with this set up, I blew through the OEM differential bushings in 5K miles. Thats why, the T/A is the next suspension component I will be getting.

@@beerwrenchgarage That would be awesome. Definitely a bit of an upgrade compared to the stock 04 BAER brake setup currently on my car.

I got my calipers on FB marketplace and rotors from Rockauto. You can get the calipers pretty cheap on Amazon too.

Do you happen to know the width if the spacers? Another vidoe said his were 2 mm. The ones that came in my kit are 4.5mm.

To be honest, I didn't measure them, but they were extremely thin. I do believe they were 2mm. I cant imagine they were thick enough to be 4.5mm. Is your kit for S&S engineering?

Thanks for the reply. After I asked you,I emailed S&S. It turns out I ordered the kit with the 4.5mm spacers. Glad I didn’t have 4.5mm milled off the calipers. Thanks for your help and the great customer service from S&S Engineering!
