i wonder why you pointed out how Shaq got conserned about his potential hate on twitter after Brousard said about him hunting xD CB thou got out :D
N
FOX
FOX Sports you're the goat for this
I like Shaq’s trophy story.
Chris Broussard, imo is the sports journalist now. He has enormous knowledge about the game and he appreciates it. Big shouts to you man, this is the best show now and keep doing more, we appreciate you!
Well said!
While I wouldn't go that far, I thought ESPN was holding this guy back. I always felt like they tried to put Stephen A Smith above him, but Chris Broussard is better then Stephen A Smith and has a better personality.
I think all of the "personalities' like him coming on their shows, but i think they all know he would be better than they are, so they haven't helped push him to have his own show, his podcast will be proof of concept for his own show, so if you think he should have his own show like me subscribe, like, and tell people about it.
I remember a few years ago, he had comments about homosexuality blown out of context and proportion. Around the same time he tweeted that sources had told him something about Mark Cuban and Deandre Jordan. Cuban then claimed this was completely false. This was all meant to make him look like a homophobic liar, but looking back on things I can't see any other examples which back this idea up at all, and to me he is just the realest of the sports journalists. He doesn't get over emotional and say ridiculous hot takes all the time like: Stephen A, Skip, Cowherd etc. He never disrespects any players either. He has sensible takes on things and tries to understand where people are coming from. Just comes off as a humble and great guy and I respect him a lot more than all the other most popular sports journalists who cover the NBA.
No matter what, I have respect for Shaq because he honors his father at every turn.
I like goofy Shaq but I love serious Shaq.
True
Love both he a good dude
"Cause I never want you to be satisfied"
That spoke in volume
Garnett was an inside-out player who could do everything. He's created the mould for young bigs but very few guys can do everything that he did at a high level (rebound, play D, post-up, shoot Js).
Fawad B very skilled big, my fav player. Did more than Duncan could do but didnt have the same infrastructure
@@Oscar-mi9kw what's infrastructure mean
Fawad B he was the greatest PF of all time. Tim Duncan player center 99% of his career
The most underestimated trait of Shaq, is his intelligence!!
Awesome interview, and amazing insights into a complicated champion! I wish I knew this side of Shaq back in the day.
keep posting Chris! Best CZcams sports show!
NoRegretsMjSolis i have a podcast on my channel called "Rebel Thoughts". it covers sports and many other things. check it out if it's not too much trouble
Greatest line;
Broussard: "Do people even understand how much education you have?
Shaq: "...because it doesn't matter".
Humility.
shaq was incredible wish more bigs played with the power and ferocity that shaq had.
Props to Shaq for the emotion at theend, about education about statistics, about his kids...
Love a great interview, I find myself listening to more interviews and podcasts than music these days. Music so watered down, and I guess IM getting older so IM in to trying to learn different things... Great interview Chris.
PrisonerOfWar 10 Music is so corrupt too. Makes u dum
teazy7468 fact
PrisonerOfWar 10 just gotta listen to the right artist
Music is a joke now
PrisonerOfWar 10 yessssss mee too messed around and found a podcast on how to build a franchise from real gm’s
I love how he always respected his father. He also puts the pressure on his children to be successful and educated. He is the real MVP Father.
great podcast, I was invested in listening the whole time
love this interview
Dean Jacobsen i have a podcast on my channel called "Rebel Thoughts". it covers sports and many other things. check it out if it's not too much trouble
Shaq is one of the most coolest people on earth.
W/his natural, physical gifts, Shaq was supposed to be the greatest Center of all time. Don't know if greatest, but I still think he's the most dominant C in history considering the tough time he was in
He was suppose to be the greatest player period. But he let his gut stop him
wxxcable He didn't have the work ethic. He coulda been a better free throw shooter than he was, and him losing weight woulda extended his playing career
@@likemikegenerationx2 Well, he played 19 years, so his career was extended enough. He just was more consistent for like his first 12-14 years. I also wish that he was a better defender outside of just blocking shots, like he was in Orlando, where I believe he was at his best.
@@najeenixon1834 ... HE WAS A LOT SMALLER THEN.. GO BACK AND LOOK AT YOUNG SHAQ.. LOL ALMOST HALF THE MAN HE IS NOW
Unbelievable, love this guy
RIP Phil, he was everything, comical, crazy, and generous. I miss him. Shout out to Lucille too.
This interview was great and on the square...
Friggen' awesome interview. Low-key, keeping it real, that's what I like.
18:33 - This is preposterous! Big old Shaq riding horses? Say no to cruelty to animals Shaq! :P
Loved the whole interview. Great one!
I love Shaq one of my favorite players in and outside of sports period !
Great interview Chris.
Man if Shaq didnt leave Orlando and Penny didnt get so many injuries early 2000s East was even more pathetic than now. Penny was real PG.
He just admitted that he betrayed Penny for money and jealousy.
Love Shaq! What a smart man!
Had Shaq not gotten hurt that first year in Miami, they would've possibly gotten two in a row. People have forgotten how great Penny was. To be that tall he had the tightest handle of all the big guards - Magic included. Just a superior player.
I always thought of penny being the 1st tmac but as pg. Weirdly they both got injuries
"Miami" and "Penny"??????
Duuuuude, do you even know what you're yapping about?
LMFAO... Helloooooooo... Penny and Shaq were earlier, IN ORLANDO.
Shaq's ring in Miami was yearrrrrs later, and Penny NEVER played there with him. It was D-Wade, Alonzo, "White Chocolate", GP, etc...
Man, stop smoking whatever you are before you comment... ***smh***
The Skydiving story was Hilarious , Love it !!!
Good Interview
Shaq n Kobe are NBA #Royalty to me 4real love these brothers n miss them in today's game 4real 4real #Myheroes4real n great interview the Big Aristotle 4real .....
Good interview, I can really appreciate and respect a serious Shaq. The whole time I'm watching this I kept thinking my Kings should have beat his Lakers in 02.
Imagine driving to the basket and seeing a prime Lakers Shaq defending there.
Lol at 1:20 when he said he would go coast to coast 😃😃😃
Good stuff
19:00 lmaoooooo
And him high lmao
I had no idea he's got a master's, that was a very good interview and Shaq was solid.
Next with Kobe, Chris!
Shaq has always been my favorite athlete from a personality stand point
All the greatest athletes we have in our lifetime to me shaq is the greatest
Shaq is Huge!! That chair is not big enough!!
Yeah he looked big on the court but sitting next to a more normal guy like Chris you really get an idea of how massive this dude is. Just his arm is about as big around as Chris' head.
Ppl dont really understand how great Penny Hardaway was...Magic Johnson himself dubbed Penny "the next Magic Johnson" he was the first athletic scoring point guard in the league before him PG ran offenses and occasionally scored Penny ran the offense like Magic was athletic like Dominique and scored like Mike...he was amazing
Plus penny hard way was a very big point guard at 6'7"
shaq diesel, dropping knowledge. god bless.
Shaw is way more say than people give him credit for. The other interview had with his co worker Ernie is just as good. Both interviews good give incite into the mind of a legend. Last of the real Big Men in the game.
*Shaq is way more savy*
I meant Shaq is way more savy than people give him credit for. You can tell his father was a huge influence in his life.
Absolute RESPECT Shaq
“PENNY WAS LEBRON AND KOBE BEFORE LEBRON AND KOBE” millennials would never understand, if they were there they wouldn’t insist on someone being the goat. The one they’re appointing wasn’t the first of his kind.
Just cuz your the first doesn't make you the goat
You mean to tell me the wright brothers are the goats at making airplanes?
Jack Bower same can be said of dozens of other players it happens in sports all the time. Just unlucky
Love the Shaqster ♡
shaq has a ton of my respect for real for real
Amazing Brother!
Jesus Christ Shaq is huge! He makes Broussard look like a grade school kid!!!!
Love Shaq!,
Kobe, TMAC, Wade, and LeBron learned from Penny.
Didn’t know shaq was a fellow hunter. Love that. Be proud of it!
Shaq is my hero.
I've always wondered why it is so easy to get to the hole nowadays literally 3s and easy layups are all the NBA is now
C Moe cause if a guy like curry who drives to the basket and gets lightly tapped, the refs are gonna call foul
Rule changes in 2005, such as the elimination of hand checking, defensive three seconds. An this year we're getting a lot of 130+ game because of more rule changes to cripple defense.
C Moe no handchecking
no its spacing cause bigs can shoot which means you can't help as easy back in the 90s the lanes were clogged cause big men didn't shoot
that's why most of the dunks filled all daily top 10
music = winnin
Give Chris his own Dann show!!!
SHAQ GIVE THE BEST INTERVIEWS AND BEST SPEECHES
Great man shaq !
Broussard the Don
Shaq is the best very nice guy and very talented he can rap make people laugh and play sports
This was filmed the same day as the Charles Barkley argument fight on TV, same shirt!
Real
Not sure telling Curry to beat you from the outside is the best approach lmao
Shaq just get its. He seems so wise.
I stand to be corrected, by asking why O'Neal is not in the State of Texas Basketball Hall Of Fame. After all his Hall of Fame Career, winner of 4 NBA championships and leading his San Antonio, Texas high school to a State of Texas championship, speaks for itself. What do you think? Just curious.
WHAT? you saying I got one on Shaq? 10000 feet tandem skydive yeah buddy 😂
Diesel 💯💯
Shaq better release that nose tanning machine he's got.
Love it. Never knew he was a hunter. That makes me happy. Because I almost live to go hunting.
Shaq was a great player always rose to the occasion
Shaqs an extremely impressive human being. Closest thing to a super hero. Also I'd bet his IQ is 120+. They way he views and articulates things are impressive. Wilt Chamberlain type dominance. Is arguably a top 10 player.
nick miller My top 10 would probably go like:
1: Michael Jordan
2: LeBron James
3: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
4: Magic Johnson
5: Wilt Chamberlain
6: Bill Russell
7: Larry Bird
8: Shaquille O'Neal
9: Kobe Bryant
10: Tim Duncan
Hakeem Olajuwan at 11 and Oscar Robertson at 12.
Joe Wolf better be in your top 10..
is* impressive. He* is arguably...
who are you? one of the best centers in the history that's who
edisonsun21c I would take shaq over Anton
Chris broussard is the 🐐 fr . Imagine if Shaq had a decent 3 point shot and played like dirk sometimes back in the day 😱 but tbh Shaq it's curry who made the entire nba change and everyone shoot more 3s . He's the reason iso ball is dead (along with Nash and the mid/late 2000s sun's) . Bc there is no one like you except maybe Giannis (big men who strictly play the paint and are almost unstoppable) but 3point shooting is up like 25% bc of curry
Shaq is actually a good 3 point shooter... But he played his position..
I love you sar
very very Nice good
Nice shoutout to the highly underrated Ron Seikaly
Chris Broussard is one of the best and realist. Everyone else is schticky. Chris Broussard isn't playing a character like his cohorts.
“Aww man she’s never gonna get out”
🌬
Shaq can do no wrong! - Zach Van Harris JR
Chris Broussard is such a good journalist, but man I don't know how you could hate SHAQ.
If Shaq played today, he’d score the same but with higher assist numbers. Rebounds would also be very easy for him
"No, No never...that aint gone work against me" 😂😂😂 LOVE IT!!!!! THATS BARBECUE CHICKEN DOWN THERE!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Man there will never be another SHAQ....PERIOD!!! THEM DAYS ARE OVER!!!! SMH....JUST SAD
I can never trust anyone who buttons the top button on a shirt. Lol
Lol annoying
Shaquille, have his Bachelor Degree, Master Degree and Phd. Shaq, is very authentic.
I think he woulda foul out everybody on that warriors team. Granted he dont guard the three. Who's guarding him in the post? Theres 4 quarters. His man will foul out in the 1st quarter guarantee you that. Remember Mark Madsen, they used that guy to hack shaq all the time so that KG wont be in foul trouble
Who doesn't love shaq
@ 2:41 Shaq "The great Chris Jackson"
For a fellow Muslim, he didn't put respect on Abdul Rauf's name.
Nice inter view Shaq you change the game hands down.
That human being is large.
SHAQ FOR PRESIDENT
How would young Shaq fair against Lew Alcindor 2-3 years into each of their careers unfortunately I was too young to have seen the latter play until much later (79 -80 ) or I should say how would they fair against each other .
Georgetowm basketball and Navy basketball influence 2:16
When he said Penny... (and I'd said Penny) 😢
Shaq diesel get better and better.
Shaq needs to say thank u Kobe
Greatest Investor.. luckiest investor, too..
Shaq y u don't never talk about chris Jackson I know u got stories yall played together at LSU
Chris asked who would come out on top in a late 90's Lakers team vs the current Warriors. There wouldn't be a soul on the Warriors that could guard Shaq and lets not even mention Kobe. They would eat them boys up!
People say shaq would catch a bunch of fouls, but all he really would have to do was make sure he had his feet set and goes up straight, ,even he even needs to get up, they would bounce off him.
Love how Shaq mentions Barkley and Malone as inferior and naming Magic, MJ and Kareem as greats. He always seems to "hide" from the Duncan comparisons. Knowing he was overall greater I think. He did it quietly but on a consistent basis, winning every year.
