On Android, I'm using AdAway, which is a root adblocking solution to block ads system-wide, including in games and apps. There are less effective non-root solutions though. Lucky Patcher can also remove ads from individual apps, and CZcams Vanced is a modded CZcams app that blocks all ads (no root needed).
I also use Firefox meaning I can get extensions on Android as well, however if you love Chrome I recommend the Kiwi Browser to get Chrome extensions on Android.

I still have the original Zephyrus. It is an amazing laptop and it is still going strong. The Costco near me accidentally misprinted the sale price of the Zephyrus as $1,699 instead of $2,699. I couldn't say no to that price. Their tech guy bought one too when he noticed the mistake. They fixed it shortly afterward.

One of my favorite hobbies includes watching CZcams reviews of things I can't afford.
It’s ok.. when you’re finally able to buy one like I did after saving for a long time.. you will probably still watch videos on said laptop. I was worried Dave was going to give a bad review on something I literally just bought, but it’s all good! Will you get yours one day!

2:15 Dave you have finally made this point. I had the first gen zephyrus with the GTX1080. At that time i already realized that because we are seated further away, the screen actually becomes visually smaller meaning it is more like a 12 or 13 inch device compare to laptops with a regular keyboard position. All these years youtubers only talked about whether you can get comfortable with the position but they are actually missing the most important point.

I don't get it. Your arms can move forward and backward. You can change the eye-screen distance however you want, right?
@@matrixin1999 I use the zenbook duo and when typing, you can't bend your elbows to get closer to the screen. Well, you technically can... but have you ever tried typing like a crab?
Harry Lin In theory you can, but in reality you won’t. Also, if you want to move your arms “backward”, as in more vertical, you will need to raise your chair too. So now your legs are also not comfortable because they are hanging
I just got the zephyrus m15 a few days ago and I'm loving it so bad! I miss the lack of fongerprint reader snd touchscreen display of my old notebook, but oh the power in this one is so insane

neildyt Ryzen CPUs (the ones marked as HS) runs at 35 watts rather then the Intel’s at 45 watts. The less power something needs, the less heat output there is.

I think that having the extra screen at the bottom is a huge compliment when doing things like music production/performance and other media type of work. So add that to the awesome graphics performance this is a killer media machine👌

I still love my G14. Especially since I got it on sale and with points at Best Buy, so I only paid like $1325 w/ no tax because I live in Delaware. Unless you are a professional esports gamer you won't notice any issues with the screen. It looks just fine. I watch movies on it all the time. Only real issue is the keyboard backlighting. Plan and simple....it's awful. Not a huge deal though if you don't need to look at your keyboard as your typing.
Which according to you is a better laptop? XPS 17 or G14? I'm really stuck between these two.
I just got my G14 and the backlighting is actually almost perfectly even, I guess maybe they fixed it or it’s affecting only certain machines

@@marcush7694 Well that's good. I got it as soon as it came out so maybe they did fix it or I got unlucky. It's pretty much a con on every tech sources review, so a lot were shit. Would have been cool if they did like a red backlightng to rock the AMD color.

CZcams made it possible now for videos over 8 mins (instead of 10 min) to get midroll ads
It's funny cause I can't remember when I last saw a midroll ad in a Dave2D video....
they don’t actually get paid more for >10 min (now >8 mins as of a few days ago) unless the creator actually chooses to run midroll ads, which D2D doesn’t do anyways so it makes no difference.
Having videos be over 10 mins / 8 mins simply gives the creator the OPTION to run additional ads in the middle of the video. If the creator chooses not to, they don’t earn any additional money.

2:01 I think they should have made it a 17 inch so that even further away from it things would still be large enough. Another alternative would be putting it on a laptop stand with a keyboard and mouse combo. That way both screens would be closer to you.
Then the pricing would go way up. And since it's Asus the change for just a bigger screen would make a big difference in price.
actually, that's my solution at the moment. A laptop stands on a stand and my keyboard is under the stand about 10cm under the laptop.

Great video, and recommendation. M15 should tick the boxes for most gamers, as far as I am aware. The Zephyrus Duo should be cool for streamers and content creators alike. Overall, good line-up from Asus.

Always love the reviews, simple to the point and clear thoughts. 🙏🏼🙏🏼 What would you suggest someone starting his own tech channel but does not have the products for the Broll and hands on review do to build a good reputation?? Should I just go for the review based of off on the paper specs? Because i kind of feel sometimes good specs on paper dont exactly translate into performance.
Looking at the Zephyrus Duo from what you said... I think making it a 17" laptop will be the way to go.
With the fact that laptops now features really slim and sleek bezels, making the Duo a 17" or even a 16" won't be bad.
It will even allow for a bigger trackpad and maybe better keyboard.
My thoughts..

Asus Zephyrus M15 or G14
Both are similar in many aspects
The difference is mainly cosmetic and processor
Nope. M15 is a full blown gamer laptop. The G14 is a small, lightweight laptop first, a performant laptop second
He did a single video when he easily could have done 3 for3x money. Instead he kept viewers in mind ,huge respect for this guy.

This is the first laptop i bought in 15 years. Been primarily on PC. When i first used it, there was no confusion with the track pad or the positioning of the keyboard
When you’re sitting behind, does the small screen block the bottom part of the main screen?
Wish they had a push to raise the second screen instead of it popping out by itself. Perhaps adjustable as well.
Didn’t block it at all. Could be raised another 2 inches and still be good. Main screen has a big chin (too big imo)

I got the zephyrus s with 6 core intel and 2060 for €1600 about a week ago and i love that it outperforms all of the laptops that i've ever had, while looking way sleeker and feeling more premium

Well, I''ll be waiting 1 more year till they release ALL the AMD Ryzen version...
I imagine that they'll make the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo 17 that's a 17 inch laptop with a AMD processor and RTX 3000 series graphics card.
