- I don't think I've ever been this much of a fangirl, and that's saying something... Jake and I went to see Hello, Dolly! on Broadway and got to see the legendary Bernadette Peters, and British super talent Charlie Stemp! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Bernadette was such a great comedienne in Hello, Dolly! Charlie Stemp is amazing showing off his dance skills. Saw it with Bernadette numerous times.❤️❤️
I WISH I could've seen the show multiple times, you're so lucky! I feel so grateful to have seen Bernadette in the role, she's such a star ❤️
you should make a video saying how much you love Charlie
Hi Rukaya
Loved this Vlog. I went to NYC just to see Hello Dolly because of Charlie Stemp. I was lucky enough to see it twice while there and I absolutely adored it. All the cast were fantastic and just like ‘Half a Sixpence’, I found that Charlie’s performance filled me with such joy. He is such a terrific performer and such a nice guy. I had seen the film prior to going out and loved it so knew I was in for a good time. However the show blew me away and now that it’s finishing early, I would love to see it again, here’s hoping!🤞
Thank you for such a lovely comment Gillian!! So glad you managed to see Hello Dolly and loved it, it's full of joy isn't it! Charlie is such a star 🌟
Off to see this production next week from the UK for my birthday..... you've made me so excited to go! Thanks for the blog Love it!
Ooo yay!!! Hope you have the BEST time :)
I’ve seen this production four times now and I’ve cried happy tears at the overture every time. It feels like such a time capsule, like you’ve fallen into a wormhole and you’re sitting in the sixties experiencing divine musical theatre for the first time ever.
Omg I WISH I could see it more times! You're spot on with that, it is like time travelling a bit isn't it. So so good. ❤️
I love how Jake had to keep bending to see into the camera lol. Great vlog. I'm so happy you got to see one of my favorite broadway queens ever.
He's too tall!! 😂 Same, and she really was such a queen 👸🏼
Hello there. LOVE your review and reactions. SO GENUINE . I got to see the show in June with Bette . Absolutely incredible . I have many years of experience in the theater and I was still swept away by the magic happening on stage. Your comments about the " train " bit brought a smile to my face. I too gasped at that moment. The last time I was that taken by a set piece was the original A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, when they assembled Madam Armfelt 's chateau onstage at the end of the first act. Glad you got to see why this show is iconic . And got see a true star strut her stuff.
I love comments like this!! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
This show is my absolute favorite show ever, tied with Anastasia. Everything about it is so magical and breathtaking! I saw it last August with Donna Murphy and I still don’t have any words to comprehend how incredibly stunning she was Dolly. That moment when the ensemble comes out with their colorful costumes and then the train; I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped. I’m so happy you loved it, and how much attention the show has been getting!
I'm so glad you loved this too!! 😭❤️
Been waiting for this one! I saw the production in Regents Park some 10 Years ago with Sam Spiro as Dolly! I was fortunate to see Bette Midler just before Christmas in. Hoping to see Bernadette Peters this summer (waiting for the BA sale to start!!), seen BP's recently in Mozart in the Jungle on Amazon which I love!!, so happy to see you enjoyed Hello Dolly so much, I had the same feeling as you for such a long time after seeing it. Cannot wait to fly across the pond and see it again! x
Wowza, I love that you saw the Regent's Park production I bet that was glorious!! Have a great time seeing Bernadette, this show really does have so much magic to it ❤️
Loved the video, you sound so positive and happy!!!
I loved the show so much, it really shows, doesn't it!! Full'a joy ❤️
I'm so jealous!😂 your happiness is infectious!💖
Aw that's lovely!! Thank you 😄
great vlog and so lucky you got to see Bernadette!
Thank you so much Alyssa, it was so exciting!!
Ugh Rukaya, another show I’m gonna start obsessing over!
It's worth obsessing over 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Weird. I went to this exact performance. It was amazing!!! Want to see it again so bad
Small world hey! Glad you had a great time too 😄
I FEEL BAD FOR DOING THIS BUT I BOUGHT A BOOTLEG OF THIS FOR 23$ IT'S SO F***ING GOOD (excuse my language) IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I COULD EVEN FEEL THE EMOTION EVEN THROUGH THE BOOTLEG. WHEN THEY DID THE DUCK WALK AROUND THE APRON OF THE STAGE I STARTED CRYING..
Isn't it just SO GOOD!!!
how where?
Bernadette Peters is one of my favourites as is Bette Midler. I’m so jealous!!!!
Literal theatre legends!! 👸🏼
Rukaya Cesar funny story... When I was about eight we had had a dress up competition at my primary school. You had to dress up at a celebrity. I dressed up as Bette Midler. I won best look a like! Ha ha ha! Got called “Bec Midler” all day
My friend is in the show.
That's so cool!! Must be a great show to be a part of :)
He loves it and he said the icing on the cake he gets to work with Bette and Bernadette.
what hello dolly about
I saw this and my seats were TERRIBLE. I got rush tickets but it was a great show. But out of the 4 I saw this one was my least favorite, still good. I saw kinky boots, a Bronx tale, and phantom of the opera.
Oh no! Sad your seats sucked but I'm glad you enjoyed it regardless, where were you sat if you don't mind sharing?
