7:00 I remember seeing this cutscene for the first time; It was 2013, 13 year old me saw the car for the first time and immediately fell in love with it, I had to get it! I wasn't skilled enough to get bronze on all three tracks, which at the time was the minimum goal needed to receive the car, so I practiced, hard. I managed to get bronze on Nürburgring GP and Monza within a few attempts, just Suzuka remained. I tried and tried to get bronze, but I was either too slow or ran off the circuit, but that wouldn't stop me, I was determined. I kept trying and trying, for *three months* now and still no luck, but I'm not giving up, not yet. On August 14th 2013, I did it, I finally got bronze on Suzuka and earned the car. I was so overwhelmed with joy and happiness, I broke down. All of my hard work and determination had finally paid off. Which just shows that if you really try your best and stay determined, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to, no matter how long it takes.

That was the time where I got the car the first time!
It took me a couple months of playing near daily to bronze all 3. They eventually made the bronze times much easier, but as far as I'm concerned, this challenge was the most difficult thing to do in Gran Turismo history. I remember bullcrappers saying they easily beat it on their first try. Lol. No way anyone did. That car's handling was absolutely nothing like any other vehicle in the game. Took a while to even get used to how fast it could take a turn.
I did the same, but i was raging at that time coz i kept getting off track in suzuki especially when im almost there

This challenge is torture. It's the one and only thing I truly can't do, in any videogame I have ever played.

Uhm. Hardest challenge in any game literally ever. I don't have a wheel, and I have been playing this game for a good 8 years and have never gotten past bronze. I am positive 100% that you can't beat this with a controller. If someone has, I'd love to watch them do it with their hands on the controller...
This is hands down the HARDEST thing to do in any game, ever.
As someone who's beaten Ninja Gaiden 1-3 on NES, Batman on NES, Castlevania 1-3 NES, Ghost and Goblins, Dark souls 1-3... This is hands down. Impossible. The speed you have to react to is legendary, even worse you have to be super precise. Turn a little early, you're off the track, resetting the whole thing. Turn a little late, you're off the track, resetting the whole thing. It's challenge in a way that no other game will give you, and it's fucking brutal.

I finally got to this challenge on Gran Turismo 6 (which, can I just say that Gran Turismo 6 sucks ass?)
The challenge is easy as fuck. Yup.
You do Red Bull Go karts, Red Bull kiddie carts, Red Bull regular karts, and then the actual challenge.
I was able to get GOLD on every. Single. One. First try. It was an absolute breeze and you don't get anything extra for doing it. Even the time limits on Monza and Suzuki are way more lenient. To give you an idea, Monza Gold is like 1:14 in Gran Turismo 5. In 6, it's like 2:24 for gold. It's ridiculous, and the Red Bull car itself controls much better than it did in 5.
To sum it all up: If you want the red bull car, do it in 6. If you want a game that is actually fun, play Gran Turismo 5.
I dont know, man. For me it was super hard to do the challenge on gt 6 (finished just today) because i was not used to gt5's level of f1 difficulty, but i have played for some time (something occurred with my save and i lost it - i was too frustrated to start all over again so i jumped directly into gt6) and i unlocked both national a license and the Sebastian Vettel Red Bull challenge and i started doing the Red Bull challenge to end it as fast as possible. And now i need to get used to the standard cars with a much lower downforce and tyre grip, but it will not be much of a problem.
GT6 was great for the Goodwood missions And driving on the moon.
If you reach 35 A-Spec level on GT5 you will get a black X2010
To be fair, you can absolutely cheese the chicanes at Monza (especially the second one), so that one isn't that bad. I'm still trying to get the other two though, pain in the ass.
This is actually impossible for me.

I always wondered if it was actually Seb who recorded that gold time because it really did feel like I was chasing after a professional F1 driver. Incredibly difficult.

This Sebastian Vettel X Challenge on GT5 bar none, is the hardest one in ANY racing game ever! Even Setsuna Yuki, the diehard fan of anime and Gran Turismo, needed 585 retries before finally golded all three Vettel X Challenges in GT5!

I remember getting silver with controller and holy shit I gave up after like 7 hours of grinding it
It's funny how the video seems like it had a speed up effect, but it's just the car being fast as fuck

damn, it was in 2012-2013, a 10-year-old me was always missing just a fuking second to take gold, I was a nerd in this game, I learned every fuking turn on these three tracks, invited friends to my house to play together, it was a good time, good music, it's a carefree time my childhood
Im 7 years old and got gold on all tracks first try
I complete all event except endurance event I dont have the attention span for endurance and it has a pretty bad time credit ratio

Suzuka was the only one I couldn´t do on Bronze with Controller back then. I ended up levelling the B-Spec to 35 to get the Car.
This car was absolute chaos
Me ha llevado 5 horas pasarme el circuito de Suzuka para hacer un bronce,fue un terrible dolor de muelas correr con el Red Bull X2010 en el circuito nipón...tienes que mantener el coche dentro de la pista,la reacción tiene que ser inmediata y lo que se debe gestionar son los nervios del momento (si controlas con mando,claro)

I have a wheel and gotten gold on monza but the other 2 i still have bronze and are like 4 seconds off on the Nurburgring and suzuka, this is brutally challenging

somehow gran turismo 5 and 6 the backfire is unreal and terrifying like they are alot for some other cars

I can't even drive fast and steer
You need a Steering wheel. I mean a trick I learned with the controller, is use only the analog sticks to drive and steer. NOW HOWEVER, I do it in a way where this car won't jerk and loose control. I keep my thumb up on both analogs and then I for steering I slightly move it left or right while it still being in the up position, and the throttle analog is a slow and calm up center and down for brake movement. Most of the times I barely brake by having the throttle analog ever so slightly move down from center. ..... Huhh but all that work is only good enough for bronze though. I think only a steering wheel can get you gold. 🤷🏾♂️

Everytime I try to keep it in 3rd or 2nd it auto downshifts to 1st and spins me out and it’s pissing me off.
Use MT, I could only gold it with manual because I can downshift faster to stop the car faster (Allowing me to brake late = faster lap time) and shift late enough (Faster on the straights).

Hello can you help me to take this Challenge in Suzuka for Gold?
NOTHING ELSE BUT PRACTICE. Words from someone who actuallly barely aced it (2:09.952 or 2:09.948,do not exactly remember, and who also got so many 2:10.0xx)
But there is couple hints:
1) Use manual gearbox if you can.
2) I found this car very understeery, so I turned all of my assists off, including ABS, TC and SRF. I do not usually do that, but that was another case.
3) If your first lap is any worse than 1:06.3xx, RESTART IMMEDIATLY! Even a lap of 1:06.0xx is pretty tricky to manage. Try to aim your first lap under 1:06.0xx at all costs!

It's when you get to lvl 27 I believe, this opens and you can do these. Believe me, you're gonna learn to hate this game all because of stupid shit like this.

No controle é fácil na onde? Fala pra mim? Porque estou a meses no controle e até agora nada, esse é o maior desafio que já fiz em todos os Gran turismo que joguei, não quero para o 6 antes de fazer essas missões. 😅
Detalhe que já tenho o 7, até joguei um pouco, mais esse desafio é bom demais, só é bem difícil.
