    Hey man. How do you know if a distribution is negatively or positvely skewed from the first look?

      +John Constantine The term "skew" refers to the look of the distribution. There are exact measures of skewness, but multiple choice tests typically just have an image of a skewed distribution and asks which direction the skew is in. The "skew" part is the skinny part of the distribution.
