Thanks for posting. I've been struggling with the dating scene ,specifically tinder, recently. Your insight has been super helpful and comforting.

good video! but I will say one thing regarding pronouns. pronouns are something incredibly tightly connected to language. so when you talk about yourself in english you dont use pronouns and verbs are not gendered. but in many other languages they are. like in mine for example. and that very often means that trans people are basically misgendering themselves for a very long time before they get used to new pronouns. I know a transguy who was over 4 months on T and passing and was still referring to himself in female pronouns bc male pronouns sounded weird and then his friends told him you have to start using male pronouns this is getting really weird, you are passing fully and you refer to yourself as a she, its weird. so then he slowly switched. and I find myself in the same position. it is incredibly hard even when you know the pronouns you should be using match ur identity, you are not aware how automated your speech is especially when you talk about yourself. so when you say that professors have hard time accepting someones pronouns and that it isnt so hard, believe me it is. I am trans and I cant even change it myself it is very hard and you slip constantly. so seeing someone once or twice a week and then being one of many many students you teach it is hard to not slip. of course if it is on purpose thats a whole another story, but if it isn't and people just slip, I think you just need time to create new nerve connections in your brain so that you can incorporate a new way of talking into that automated system. anyway, just wanted to share what i was thinking about and my own struggles. you two are cute :) hope to see more videos soon!
