@Miranda Rutledge I guess Amai fell for him cuz He was very gentle and disciplined unlike other boys who are kinda rowdy.
Kizana might have fallen for him cuz he worked hard to fit in with the Drama club to be more expressive in his acting since she herself recommended him.
Oka might have sensed some kind of energy from him since he's the one who makes Ayano feel emotions (Unlike anyone else in her life) and he's perhaps one of the few who don't think she's creepy.
Asu saw that Senpai was sad due to losing the previous rival and wanted to help him the same way Amai did and she wanted to help him get physically active to get his mind off of things and she probably came to like him for how dedicated he was to his training.
Muja wanted to help Senpai cuz he lost his will to be more active after losing Asu and wanted to help him mentally since he was getting mentally depressed.....When she came in to the school as a replacement nurse many boys faked sick just to see her cuz ya' know....... *Boys* 😒😑. Taro wasn't like them and tried to take care of his health seriously so that Muja didn't have to worry and also possible not get close to her since he didn't want to grow connections anymore but she still fell for how sincere he was.
Now Mida.......Well.....Do I really have to say this one??😧 She *enjoys* giving boys private tutoring *(God, That sounds sooo bad!?!?I'm using suddle words very liberally here so just go along with it.....)* . But Taro unlike other boys was only focused on studying since he was seeking for a way to get his mind off things,This surprises Mida cuz she was really used to the improper attention she brought on herself and thought that Taro was just pretending to get her attention and she tries to be around even more only to realise that he was indeed sincere and she realised that Taro was the only one who didn't have any ill intentions towards her.
Osoro is the leader of the delinquents and was used to people getting scared of her but one day senpai accidentally encounters her when she is slightly injured after one of her fights. Usually senpai avoids people like her but he felt pity for her and dresses her wound so she can get better....This,like Mida and Muja, surprises her since she's used to people running away from her or scrowling at her so she saved him when a few delinquents from another school tried to harm him and they got to know each other better.
Now Hanako's is a tricky case cuz we don't really know if she's really in love with him or she saw that her brother was suffering due to the lose of his friends and so she transferred to Akidemi and that's where she started to see him as a man rather than her brother....I guess but we all know the phrase by now *"INCEST ISN'T WINCEST"* .
Megami could have seen that he suffered so much cuz of Ayano and tries her best to protect him from her....This lead to them spending time together and she sees how sincere,kind and honest he actually is and she feels that Taro treats her as if she's enough as the way she is.
Megami had to grow up in an environment where she had to work hard in being the best to be seen as a member of her family which have very hight standards and expectations for her since she's the first child and also girl at that. Due to the incident which happened because of her aunt,She's had it harsh and felt that Taro was the only one who didn't expect anything from her and this lead to her having feelings for him.
@Miranda Rutledge I just thought of myself in their shoes (Minus the getting eliminated part by Ayano) and tried to know how the they would view the situation. Guess it was worth typing the entire analysis!?XD

I love that this series really highlights how much Ayano tries to seem normal around the other students as well as featuring the more subtle elimination methods

yeah, Ayano is not that likable in the games. I mean, I know she's the bad guy, but still.
In game she’s supposed to be blank. Like she didn’t feel until she met Taro. So that’s why she’s usually so blank. But I’m glad they took a different approach here! Makes it more interesting on just some stabbing and getting it over with.

Also Ayano isn't in her original self cuz we can see that she has normal "emotions" (If that's what we're gonna call them) and the connection between the Aishi and the Saikou's are clearly visible so I'm glad Sakura Media highlighted that in the series.
