Usher in summer, with this beachy coastal wreath made in shades of turquoise and cream and topped with a knobby starfish. It’s made from poly burlap mesh and complements your coastal decor.
I bought my mesh for this project from:
Craftoutlet.com
Supplies:
One roll 10" turquoise poly burlap mesh
One roll 10" cream poly burlap mesh
One roll 10" turquoise/cream windowpane poly burlap mesh
One roll 10" grass green poly burlap mesh

Cream felt circle for the wreath backing.

Thank you for this tutorial. I love your demonstration process, you give very clear explanations. You are one of my favorite drafters to view. This wreath is beautiful. Thank you❤
Thanks for sharing this love it
Loved the presentation!
This wreath is pretty ,
What a beautiful coastal wreath! I’m so glad I happened upon your video. Your directions were crystal clear and easy to follow. I can’t wait to make my own. FYI, I have used the spray Modge Podge on a nautical rope hot pad that I made for my son. I had painted a Navy anchor in the center and wanted to preserve it. The spray worked out very well and dried quickly.❤
Thanks Joanna! I actually just started experimenting with the spray Modge Podge! It worked very well sealing the edges of deco mesh (which is my nemesis because it frays so much!). Thanks for the tip! Take care, Christine
Beautiful
Beautiful color combination! Thank you for sharing 😊
Hi from Massachusetts only about 45 minutes away 😊
I love your wreaths and your videos! I'm fairly new to all this wreath making and I love your how-to videos because you are so detailed in showing and explaining everything. It's great for the ones that are a little slow in picking things up, like me. I learn something new every time I watch. I like the way you show up close because a lot of videos go so fast and are kind of fuzzy up close but yours I can really see the exact placement for the petal, it's so great! I've been having trouble with how my petal placement looks afterwards and with the way you do it in sections is such a smart idea and will work great for me! Thank you for sharing these videos and I sure hope you make more in the future!!❤🌼🌻
I love it!
Very beautiful
Love the colors in the wreath. Pretty wreath.
I love this wreath and the gorgeous color combinations! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Very pretty. You make it look so easy. I feel like I fight with my mesh.
Your wreath is just so beautiful!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely stunning!
Beautiful!! Making this one for sure!

Looks great goes with porch colors.
Love it, you explain so well, thank you so much for sharing💜😻💞
Very pretty, love it 💗!
OMG....I loved your technique. Thank you I'm going to try❤❤❤
👋🙏👍😃👧
Such pretty wreaths you make..allergic to burlap. Is poly the same?
Hi Mary Ellen. Poly burlap is different from raw burlap. Poly burlap is a woven plastic, made from 100% polypropylene, making it fairly durable for outdoor decor. Take care! Christine
How far apart do you punch the holes?
This is beautiful! When I use that kind of loosely woven mesh it fraud so bad! How do you keep it so nice?
Hi Tracy. To keep poly burlap mesh from fraying so much, I cut it with a wood burning tool which slightly melts the edges. I also lightly dab ModPodge on the cut sides (it dries clear!) to give it a little more strength. I also find, in my hands at least, fabric and deco mesh gray more so I use a lot of poly burlap. Alas, fraying mesh is impossible to prevent entirely! Take care.
Could you show us how you are cutting the squares with a wood burner? That would be helpful. Thanks
Hi Joann. I’d be happy to do some cutting in my next tutorial. I’m still trying to get the right balance of demonstrating enough, yet not boring people to tears! Take care!
@@ChristineFitzgibbons-ob4dw Thanks so much. I think this would be very helpful to demonstrate for others who might want to use the same method. Just loving your videos so far!!
I’m loving your videos. Do you have any more info on the thing that you use in the middle of your wreaths?
Beautiful
Where did you get your cutting tool from and is that what it is called?
Hi Lisa. I use a wood burning tool to cut my poly burlap mesh. I bought mine at Michael’s. Try the link below. Take care!

Hi! I search 5” plastic mesh, I find there’s only 4.5 “ plastic mesh, I can’t find 5” plastic mesh 🤔.. where did you get 5” plastic mesh? Let me know so I can buy, thank you!
Hi there. #5 plastic mesh can be found at Hobby Lobby (see link below). It has 5 small squares per inch of mesh, thus the name. Take care!
