Dave got some candy colours from Spray Chief Custom Paints. So he sprayed them all out over different bases to see what they would look like. He also goes over how to get a marble effect.

Cling wrap is hard to work with at the best of times, can't imagine doing it on paint. Great vid as always keep it up

after you wet sand do you spray Clear over it even that's it is dull
I would also like to get the mixing ratio tds do you mix it with paint and how many litres would it take to spray a whole car and the Violet looks pink?? Or is that the affect thanks Dave love the videos great work
If i use a dark meatallic for base and a lighter color over the base coat will that work out descent?

Hello Dave, I am not a car guy, but I am an amateur luthier. I am in the planning stages of making an electric bass guitar. Do you have any idea if these colours work on wood? it'd be nice to just get a paint already mixed to become Candy apple red
You'll still have to do primer and base coat, but as long as you get those things nice and smooth, the candy should work

Buffing is the very last step you do!!!! If you don't already know that I suggest not doing your project.

The black lines In between the colors? Did you use tape and bury it in clear? Or did you paint that black? I want to do this on a helmet for my 69 camaro.

Melwin William it would just look black. You wouldn't notice the red. But if that's what your after it may look cool.

Don’t ever use your finger tips when applying your Saran Wrap otherwise our get finger prints in the paint watch him use the Saran Wrap watch him press it on then touch with finger tips always just use the flat part of your palm
Do not spray like this guy. . . he shuts the air off each pass. Release the trigger only enough to stop the fluid flow while leaving the air flowing. Jeeeezzz
