No, he did his job properly. Fury kept sliding along the ropes and if you're doing it that badly it's a standing knockdown.
@matterking1 no, it would be a standing knockout if you step in when someone is on the ropes getting their face punched in, same way conor went out against floyd even though fury was in a way worse situation, wobbling and completely out of it. So either you step in and it's a tko or you let usyk finish him.

No, his brain is not fried. I think you missed the point. In the interviews leading up to the fight, Usyk mentioned missing a lot of events with his family, including the new year. He literally mentioned missing new year. I am assuming that's what Tyson referred to.

Being undisputed hw shouldn't have more warrant on p4p list than undisputed any other weight champion, doesn't make sense. I agree both cruiser and heavy undisputed has a big claim. If someone can unify 3 or 4 weight classes does that exceed unifying the 2 heaviest divisions? I personally don't feel any weight has priority over another when talking about p4p unless there is little talent in a weight class and unifying is easily done.

Why not 3 or even 4 belts in each division? Silver, Gold, Platinum and BMF, AND each one of those will have two versions "interim" and "definitive". Example "an interim gold is defending versus a definitive BMF" Marvelous!
To the casuals that say Usyk got robbed in the 9th round. The rules state that if a boxer appears injured and the ropes are holding him up from falling then the ref counts that as a knockdown and commences a count. Thats exactly what the ref did. He followed the rules and Fury WAS saved by the bell. Fury has been knocked down 8 times. He has been counted by a ref 8 times. This isnt the first time he rose from the ashes and continued. The ref did his job WELL. Usyk had round ten to finish off Fury right? Did he? Neither has anyone else. It was a good fight. Usyk won.

There are few fighters I believe when they say it was a tainted supplement, but Roundtree handled this perfectly and I am inclined to believe him. No one has ever explained the accidental ingestion of a banned supplement with such transparency. Usually the fighters say they THINK it was this-that, or it was something they eat, that no one else eats, like horse meat.

Fury was giving Usyk a hard time rounds 2-7 and then he goes back to fighting on the back foot.
