Thank you so much for this video . Will there be enough time to carry out all these procedures step by step , including cleaning the tray , changing apron ,gloves
Hi Violet, Great video!
Quick question;
Will the equipment be gathered onto the tray or just beside it?
Thank you
Thank you Violet for this amazing videos. Please how do you document all what you did? I learnt that documentation is really vital for passing OSCE
Thanks for the wonderful work you do to make osce easy for many of us.God bless you.pls my question is what colour of clinical waste,is it yellow or orange? Also,is there any documentation to be done on the day of osce or you just say finish😊
Thanks alot
My pleasure 🙏 sist
What if the equipment is already assembled do I still need to wear PPE to carry my tray to the patient bedside
Can you please tell me in this the syringe go to clinical waste.....? Not in sharp...?
Thanks for this video and all your videos
The hand hygiene do we need to keep verbalizing it all the time we do it or just once at the beginning of each procedure, and then the cleaning of equipments are we to clean it or just verbalize it as well? Thanks for the great help.
Ms. Violet, is it fine as well to wear double gloves prior to removal so that you can cover the catheter tip later on with the glove prior to disposal?
Violet, thank you for the help. May I please know, during covid I hear we wear aprons and gloves b4 approaching patients or rather we expected to wear those all the time. Do we need to change those or what???
The way is Done in the video is how it is currently done dear
Hello mam, your son can be an osce trainer because he's patient for almost all vedios. 😂😂
Violet, are you saying we don't need to put the normal saline for cleaning in a small bowl if it's provided?
I never said that,if is provided u can go ahead and put in a bowl
Thank you nurse Violet, please I still can't assess the link to your videos on planning
Type my name and the planning u want to assess,it will pop up
Do we say what we ought to do in addition to carrying out the procedure .? Like if we are given a male mannequin , do we need to say how the female procedure is done after doing the procedure for the male ?...or we just have to focus on the male alone
Hi Ma'am thank you for this video.
I have a question, I thought we should clean before removing the catheter? I don't know if I'm right
Please don't clean, verbalise is clean, after removal of catheter, then u clean
Thank you for the lecture, please do we use the same glove for removing the catheter and use it for cleaning the ganital.. or we change glove and apron
Yes,same gloove deae
The gloves supposed to be changed before cleaning the genitals
During hand hygiene, are we suppose to verbalize all the steps.. palm to palm etc or we just need to do it without verbalizing it. Thx
Your first hand hygiene in any station or skills must be verbalise
Plz what if there is no drape on the patient will I get assistant to drape the patient?
I wished I had you for my tunes to be pulled the lady did mines and she was slow are gentle I ended up bleeding
Hi please must we say the doctor is happy to
Hi Viloet, i hope you're doing great?
You do say clean for 30 seconds but you count to 5. Iis it equivalent to 30 seconds ?
Verbalise it and is fine
Alright,thank you
Nurse Vee if assessor says my equipment is clean and ready for use, it means I only need a pair of gloves and one apron for this procedure right.
Yes
hi, sister if the assessor tell the equipments are clean and ready to use do I need to validate the equipment?
Yes e.g posi flush, antt pack, Clinelle wipe, you don't need to validate BP machine
thanks for the videos...
Do you do private tutorials and how can I contact you?
Yes,email me on ogboiviolet83@gmail.com
@@ogboiviolet83 Thank you ma'am...I have just sent you a message
Ma,Please can you do a video on homelessness
Thanks a lot. I have a question, after a procedure , do we actually clean the equipment waiting for the next use or we just say it?
Just say it
Will you discard the 10mls syringe with water into the clinical waste
Or will there be a place to discard the water before putting into the clinical waste?
Yes to the first question
Removing a catheter is this painful for the patient? I am having surgery done on September 28, 2022 never had surgery done before or even had a catheter. Please give me some feedback on this situation. Thanks for sharing the video.
Not painful my darling
@@ogboiviolet83 I pray🙏that it isn't and thank you for responding back😘
are we not going to dry the genitalia as stated in marking criteria 7
It states clean and dries area around the genital to make patient comfortable, take note, while removing catheter ,tip of the catheter might touch the genital, which leaves it wet,so the cleaning with normal saline dries it up.
If 15ml of water was used to inflate the balloon, does that mean we will use 20ml syringe or 2 of the 10 ml
Hii mam if assessor said tray has been cleaned and ready to use then we need to disinfect it or not
No dear
Have been trying to join but it's failing
Plz do peak flow

As the liquid is coming u are pulling back on the plunger, drinking fluid 2 - 2.5litres was mentioned in the video, wish you luck with your exams
