I always feel like in these types of situations, you should be looking for three position players, SS CF and C, because you can always transition them to other infield positions, and focus SP over RP unless you find someone with overpowering stuff in a closer role.

I once drafted a big, hefty outfielder in 15 the Show named Anibal Lyon. He eventually became a 99 overall monster with 99s for contact & power vs both handed pitchers. Had multiple seasons with 80+ homers and 200+ RBIs! Couldn’t run or field for beans, but who cares when you’re producing that much at the plate?

I cant believe sds put no effort into updating the draft/scouting. So frustrating that 90% of blue chip prospects are dogshit unless they're a closer

@@willcarroll9762 Fr. In Madden you get 82 overall corners every year when the top corner taken in the draft irl (and one of the best ones in a decade at that) starts out as a 75-76. It’s so dumb
@@brendonbuffaloe8830 baseball is a different sport than football though. Prospects needs alot more time before they succeed in MLB usually this trend tracks in RL.

Love the rebuild! The draft rebuilds have to have more thought put into them instead of a regular team rebuild. Also like the longer videos.

The blue chip system in the game is kind of just a sham and they don't pan out very often

This is much better than Madden, but I do wish they’d give a little more separation with the blue chip prospects. You should be able to tell the difference between a guy with 97 potential and a guy with 90 because you’d definitely be able to irl

Whenever I play franchise mode I make alot of trades for good starting pitchers so my bullpen is filled with starting pitchers that would start on other teams. It makes sense so you can rest your starters more and use your bullpen starters because well they are starters

Was I seeing things with a lot of your pitchers being Two-ways? Might have been interesting to see how those would have helped as well if they were. Lol nvm was answered later on. Love the draft stuff. Always satisfying to see how well or poorly you do when looking at the potentials of draft picks.

How do you find the roster for it
I think the all-time leader, for a single season, in RBI’s is Hack Wilson if I remember correctly. He was like 5’6 but could mash.

Just in case you didn’t know, the people with the blue thing by their name are the only people who can have 90+ potential
Occasionally you can catch a non blue chip that has 90+ potential, but it’s rare. Need to take blue chips, especially early on in the rebuild. If you’re a playoff contender drafting around 20, go ahead and pick those guys that can help right away. That being said, the scouting is dumb and hasn’t changed in years. I’m getting bored.
Can I download this roster? I'd love to be able to do this but I'm an idiot and can't figure out how to even replicate this.
