Yea Plastique was ABSOLUTELY robbed this season. It's insane to me that she didnt make top 3. Like I would be ok with her not taking the crown, but to have her not make top 3 is actually stupid.
WoW messed up too and told everyone who watched "Bring Back My Girls" S3E6 that Angeria won a few days before the Finale. Angie came out to ask a question to the Belgique Queens which was "What winners from across the franchises would you like to compete against?" Sus to begin with. Then right as Angie was getting ready to leave, Ts Madison asks one of the one stage Queens something like "Well, if its winners, would you compete against Angeria?" Obviously Angie hadnt won at that point (it was like 4-5 days before the Finale.) oopsy WoW! So much for "hating" spoilers. I def gagged when I heard that question. Made it not as fun watching knowing Angeria was going to win. None the less, deserved! I hope she has a great reign!
It was SO unfair that plastique didn’t even get to lip sync for the crown. She was not only one of the best of the season, but also on the finale. Just disappointing.
I'm pretty sure Ru wasn't happy with her not knowing the words for lip syncs - it happened more than once. Maybe Plastique figured her runways would carry her. but great queens get sent home for not knowing the words all all the time on this show. There was no way Ru was going to reward that behavior with a top three spot. If it was a strategy to throw the lip syncs to avoid the snippers, it failed spectacularly. Otherwise, it comes as unprofessional - especially happening more than once.
@@Wanjaii07771 Plastique has one of the most wins out of all the queens. She was robbed in the first episode and the girl group challenge, with Vanjie taking her questionable only challenge win. Even with being robbed twice in challenges, she still came up as having the second most badges.
If your fave doesn’t win, the best ‘revenge’ you can take is going to their website and buying their merch. Give them some coins! Their success _is_ the best revenge. Sending hate to the other queens is just so dumb and beneficial to no one!

I can only think of two reasons why they didn't choose her: 1 because her lipsyncs havent been up to par and they didn't want a dull finale or 2: the thing willam & alaska got a txt abt is true and the queens have been behaving badly to the crew so they snubbed her because of it.

Worth mentioning for this season is the track record. If we assumed that there were no bonus badges given out, every challenge was worth one badge, and the rightful winners of each challenge won each week, then we would have a five-way tie for last with two wins apiece, and only three queens with four badges: Plastique, Roxxxy, and Angeria. This is the sort of thing that makes giveaway badges and souble diamonds and three badge talent shows feel like such a waste of time: I think that's the top 3 we all believe we deserved to see based on the season we watched, and no spice was needed. We didn't come to RPDR for game show twists, we came to watch the queens perform. Let them perform and we'll leave satisfied.
I truly feel that with time people will come to see these badge related twists as the worst twists the show has ever done. They are pointless and make the competition aspect feel insignificant
@jaf22_2 If you cut out the Ruby Snippers (which didn't do anything) and the Double Diamond (which didn't do anything) you're left with enough screen time to fit an entire other episode, or maybe just more storylines.
I am totally convinced Shanels performance was meant to be in the dark in UV lights, and her outfit, pins and cube are meant to glow. They probably said no to turning the lights down or didnt have the UV equipment to make it look good.

Yup, I was waiting for the black lights that never came. Pretty unfair seeing as the other queens had much more complicated productions with 12 dancers and wind machines and all Shannel needed was a damn lava lamp set up somewhere and they couldn’t give that to her…
I think you’re wrong about Shannel’s talent. Any queen can lip sync. She did something completely different and well. She deserved to be top 2 this week.
I understand being disappointed your favorite didn’t win, but I just don’t understand why you’d direct that at Angeria. She didn’t screw anyone over, she didn’t choose herself, she served this season too.
And yet, that’s not what she was supposed to wear. Her finale runway didn’t fit, so she used something else she had. I think her original finale runway is what she wore for the promo look. Anyhow, that’s what she said at Roscoe’s recently.
I didn’t feel like it was a robbery - I just hate HOW it happened . Angeria is definitely deserving but not the way the producers set it up. The twist was absolutely fail cuz fuck winning the challenges if they were just gonna hand out badges left and right throughout the season.
I've been saying that the editing and storyline production has been weird for awhile. This is the third season this year that Ru presided over where a queen was given a winner's edit, and then they didn't win.
I just wish they gave Angie a better story line. Like it really felt/looked like it was going to Roxxxy all the way to the ending. And then, NOT! I love Angie and wish the producers gave her a better ending edit! ❤❤❤

Plastique is PERFECTION and should have been top 2 for the talent show and top 3 for the crown. I’m okay with Angeria winning. I think it should’ve been Roxxxy or Plastique. I mean Plastique was just STUNNING the entire time and performed well in all the challenges.
I think that we can be disappointed about how things ended without saying that Angeria was undeserving when she’s been killing it all season. Tbh it kinda just reminds me of the AS7 finale with Monet “losing” to Jinkx in a lip sync
Yeah, I think with this format I care less about who wins? Like, I'm surprised Plastique wasn't top 2 for the challenge (altho I would have put her there with Vangie, personally) but there's no way this series isn't a win for her overall. Which is what I feel All Star seasons should be - great performers showing off why they're amazing with enough competition thrown in for The Drama.
There was a reason they crowbarred it in. The winner was also based on the performance overall during the season. Monet won that lip synch. But Jinx won overall.
This is way different than AS7 because AS7 Jinx was dominating the entire season & was the clear & deserved winner. Monet was actually flopping and had the lowest badges or whatever until the very end when she got 3 for one performance. So this was more so like the complete opposite of that - because Roxxxy was the clear standout and dominating the season but DIDNT win.
So happy for Angie, she’s such an enormous fan of the entire Drag Race multiverse, and it clearly means so much to her! When Plastique wasn’t in the top two I was genuinely flabbergasted, no offence to any one else I was just so entertained by her talent show performance and overall showing.
With all of the focus they put on telling us that Roxxxy has never lost a lip sync on this show, which was easily mentioned a dozen times this season, I can’t help but wonder if they were setting us up for Roxxxy to lose the most important lip sync she’s ever had on the show, you know what I mean? *Edited because talk to text seems to be in love with commas*
According to rumors, Angeria was one of the kindest queens behind the scenes, while others (not all) mistreated (allegedly) the crew. So, just for that... I'm happy she got the crown.
My girl was definitely snubbed bussy!! I had the same reaction as you during your live reaction. I was gaggeeddd! Plastique ate sooo bad stepped completely out of her comfort zone this season. Besides the lip syncs but even then, they weren’t terrible. Idk bussy this is just too much 😂
Plastique showed so much versatility! Consistently surprised. Maybe the franchise wasn't expecting her to blow away the competition like that? Who knows. Regardless, I'm so happy for all the queens who were able to showcase new stuff and get their flowers this season. Lots of amazing drag was showcased on as9!
Gotta love when a queen doesn't know the words ONCE she gets raked through the coals. Popular queen Plastique does this THREE TIMES IN ONE SEASON FOR CHARITY and instead gets "not terrible." I cant with ya'll sometimes. Plastique didn't care enough to try win money for her charity and i'm personally glad the powers that be didn't reward her for that lol.
gone are the days where we get interesting numbers on a variety show... remember when queens do spoken words, gymnastics, painting, cultural dancing, pole dancing, LIVE SINGING! But yeah this episode really did not matter at all because the producers already know who they're gonna put in the top 3
i haaaated the twists, cause it feels like Roxxxy's and Plastique's great performances during the season were for absolutely nothing. What a disappointing conclusion to the season. I love Angie, but this felt so incredibly calculated and staged by production.
Some one broke down the season removing the twist and calculated that it would have been Rxxxy, Angeria and Plastique in the top three. If that's true Plastique would not have won the final lipsynic.
Plastique deserved to be in the top 3. However Angeria also deserved that crown. The only reason why I think production decided against Plastique for the final is her lip sync record. I mean how hard is it to learn the words to a song?? Roxxxy, Plastique and Angeria all did amazing this season, they all deserved it but no one was robbed as Kandy said no one is entitled to the crown.

Love Vangie, but she didn't deserve to be in the finale over Plastique. Glad Angeria won, she's done fantastically, and her variety show performance was the best. The ending lipsync was underwhelming from them all, but it was a weird song to go with.
Girl this is EXACTLY how I feel. I love Angeria and I think she's deserving of the win, but Plastique not even having a shot at it felt wrong. Vangie wasnt bad at all, but her performance and look did not give the same level as Plastique...
I do love Angeria, but the edit this time was weird. You make a good point about the Ruby Snippers. Maybe that's why it felt like she did worse than she actually did. But it felt like Roxxy and Plastique were being built up towards the win. So Angie winning felt like it came ouf of left field, even though it really didn't.
Gottmik references herself as being punk rock but the way she talks about punk does not give knowledge the way she talks about fashion. she KNOWS fashion. I'm surprised someone as self-aware as Detox took the attitude "You didn't crown my friend so I'm done with you". Like... Be disappointed. Feel your feeling girl.. But to claim Roxxxy's been done dirty to the fanbase after WOW gave her $60 K for her charity is a pretty wild take.
Detox is just as toxic as Roxxxy, they just play it like they’re nice. And they’re not THAT great. Fashion wise a lot of queens surpasses detox and Roxxxys concepts are meh
I think she said that because she was focusing on track record. Roxxxy and plastique had the best track record (taking into account wins, not badges). Plastique didn’t make it to the final 3 but Roxxxy did so it was fair to say she deserved the crown.

Plastique never had a chance to win this season despite outperforming everyone on the runway in almost every week and being good or great in the challenge. This show is called "RuPaul's Drag Race" and it's a reality television show for entertainment which wants to create shocking moments for drama and publicity - not a fair competition. Personally, I would have liked to see Plastique vs Roxxxy in the finale but hey, at least they got to show their abilities throughout the season.
It was really sad to see how Roxxxy and Plastique overperformed so much this season, but they were not Ru's favorite... No hate towards Angie, but her talent show was really lackluster and Plastique's was unclockable. It was just a sad ending to a boring season with an amazing cast.

but like.... Angie won the same number of challenges as them, and literally had 4 more lipsynch wins than Plastique did, so if anything Roxxxy and Angie Overperformed so much this season, and plastique literally underperformed.
Sorry, but you also have to consider that they all literally won. None of them actually get any prize $ outside of their fee they got paid. So, gotta think about -- would you want more $ to go the Angie's charity - or something like dogs and cats.
No hate towards Roxxxy but her runways were very lackluster this season (final gold runway excluded). She bombed Snatch Game as Tasha Salad. Lip syncs were good but nothing i'd want to watch again. Angeria has a beautiful voice, had great runways this season (Not Plastique or Gottmik level but damn good at times), and excelled in the comedy challenges. Yes, Ru chooses who wins. It's not Andres Drag Race. But to say she's playing favorites by choosing Angeria is being a very surface-level consumer (Roxxxy has the most badges she deserved to win 🙄).
I am fully in the camp of "Angie deserved to win but they didn't give her a winner's edit". For me, even with Plastique's wins (and she maybe even deserved more) the storyline was clearly Angie vs Roxxxy all season long, with the wins and snips and the back-and-forth of it all, but they really gave Roxxxy a winner's edit (to me) so I was thinking ok Angie absolutely deserves to win but she's falling behind on badges and the edit isn't favoring her and then BAM last minute subversion to shock the fans and cause outrage online for clicks. Like, if the narrative was always "these two are neck-a-neck it's anyone's game" it would have had a much different reaction from fans, but that's not as shocking or engagement-driving as the narrative of a robbed legend. Sucks that Angie got thrown under the bus like that and now her win is "tainted" because of stupid production bs because she's such a talented queen and deserving winner.

Even though Plastique did not win, it warmed my heart to hear Jorgeous, Gotmik, & Nina talk about their appreciation of Plastique’s style of drag as well as her runway designs. Especially nice to see how Plastique has influenced Jorgeous’ work. I agree with Miss Bussy’s review of Season 9 - thank you for this video.
I’m really happy for Angie - I’ve loved her since her season. Sure, I was shocked not to see Plastique in the top, and thought the win could have gone to Roxxxy. Angeria deserved the win as much as they did, but I think -if- it’s production favoritism is goes like this: Angie isn’t as popular (the response to her win shows it). If you put Roxxxy or Plastique on a Vs or International season, people will tune in. As charismatic and talented as Angeria is (and as much as she deserves more love from this shitty fandom), she can’t pull viewers like they can. Production only cares about making more money, not making a fair TV show.
Roxxy was absolutely the winner they planned on crowning this season. But she underperformed on and off the runway. Remember that she was in the bottom FIVE times on All Stars 2. And back then she looked GREAT. Tossa Salad and repeating the burlesque - not a winning strategy. That cowboy look - choices. If Plastique had delivered a decent lip sync this season, or even tried to - the crown might have been hers. Angeria really did deserve the win. They just kept edging us with Roxxy for 8 episodes. In the *live* crowning Roxxy looks shocked that she didn't win too!
Honestly I felt like I couldn’t breathe during the talent show. One after the other were at the tippy top of their genre of drag. I loved every act and was screaming along with all girls. Im happy for angie she is fierce and I’m happy the money went to the black justice coalition

Almost all the queens had massive earrings on tonight in their final runways. I wonder if there was some backstage competition on who has the biggest earrings which goes with the outfit. Also, just going to say it, plastique deserved to be in the top. But Angie absolutely killed it, so not mad at all.

Shanel should of been in the top 3 Angeria is a well rounded queen and deserves the win. But the show edits was making out like Roxxxy was gona win. Maybe they did that for shock value 🤷🏽♀️
For a good stretch of the season Angie has raised the most money for her charity by a wide margin, despite getting snipped several times. Plus I got to chat with her at drag con and she's nice as hell. Long live the qweeeeeen!
i get the main reason why they didn't pick plastique. her lip syncing. she has not won one and they didn't want a repeat of her not knowing the song again for the finale. otherwise, she would have won this season. rupaul definitely picked the top two because they are her favorites.

She tried to hide the fact, and asked Roople to keep it on AFTER Ru asked her to take it off Plastique never hid the fact she didn’t know the words. This is nothing more than my opinion from my observation of these few no-elimination AS: - They really need to work on this badge system. Queens should not "snip-snip, b!tch" anyone. That could potentially give a badge to number 3 in the following challenge, the snipped queen might not apply herself to the following challenge and it makes a mess out of the game. - The last challenge giving the top-two 3 badges? Why? Because they didn't win enough to progress? Come on! - Doubling up someone's badges? If they didn't manage to get them the entire competition, why? - Giving badges in mini-challenges is something that either happens in every single mini-challenge or doesn't happen at all. Otherwise, it could be perceived as favouritism. - Get a badge and give one? So this is RuPaul's Best Friend Race! 😂 I'm all for giving the queens time and taking the stress of getting eliminated away from AS, but that's it. If Ru created AS just to give a winner title to her favourite queens, then pick them to win the bloody challenges.
I love them all regardless of who won or who lost. I am just so thankful and grateful that they allow us into their world with their art. And that’s is what we all should be talking about.
@@KeithCrenshaw exactly. People focus waaaay too much on the winners and losers, but it’s much more enjoyable (for me, at least) to watch these non-elimination all stars seasons just to see some of the world’s most talented queens showing us their best drag and best performances.
I couldn't shake Plastique not being willing to commit to learning the lip sync songs. Not just 1 but 4. I felt that it really made it clear that winning for charity was not important to her. For that she in my opinion forfitted her spot in the top 3.
I'm apparently one of a few who weren't impressed by Plastique. Her talent was boring, she pulled every trick she knew to impress but I was bored. It was not personal at all. But sure, she's beautiful, her drag is amazing and she's great at what she does IRL.
Plastique 's placement it all about the lipsinks. Dragrace will always do whatever it takes to avoid lame lipsinks. The final three were the best proformers.
Given Plastique's apparent complete inability to lipsync, I can see why she wasn't in the top three. Her runways were incredible and she opened up in the acting challenges. She is a great queen. Just not for a lipsync finale.
She's not a bad lip-syncer. It's not one of her skills but she's not inept at it like Jimbo. Hell, she could have even won against Vanjie that one time. Seems like a weird thing to hold against her when she's done so well in every other way. I am not even a fan like that by the way, but most winners have some fatal flaw like that, so nobody should expect a complete all-rounder. Besides, this three-way finale lipsync seemed mostly like a formality, so Plastique could have easily won if they wanted her to. I wanted Roxxxy to win though. Anyway, I guess both got a lot of fanfare so it doesn't matter?

Kandy was 100 here. Plastique having a phenomenal runway package does not equate to her earning the crown. Had she bothered to learn the words to lipsyncs and not reportedly piss in bottles to have crew clear them away might have stood her in better stead to earn the title
honestly i feel like the way they cast this season-no matter who won it would be a well liked contestant. there werent any “villains” since it was a charity season.
I heard that the real reason Angie won over Roxxy is because the only queens not to be mentioned in the new lawsuit of former RDR staff against the show were Angie, Nina, and Shannel!
That's not even the point... it was a charity season. Which makes sense they gave a charitable win to Angeria, now we can stop seeing her on tv anymore.
On top of being very talented at what they do, Angeria is one of the kindest , most charming , humble , gracious human beings to ever be on RPDR . What a Beautiful Person , inside and out. p.s. Bussy looks great , loving the paint job .

Crowning Roxxxy would've been too obvious and I'm glad they chose Angie... she was my winner from the start... and besides Rupaul LOVES Angie and her humour... at the end of the day it is RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE and Ru ultimately has the last say. #TeamAngieAlways
Even if Plastique had been top 3 I truly believe Angeria would have taken the crown anyway for some of the reasons stated by Bussy. She is the biggest RPDR fan, and I really think they’re gonna make her Pit Stop host!

I started enjoying the show better by just watching it for the show and reminding myself that RuPaul will crown whoever they want. It has given me more peace and entertainment value. 😅

I have another theory about why Plastique wasn't given the final badge. She'd lost all of her lip syncs. She wasn't going to be competition. Although Roxxy's season was good, her finale act was meh. So she still placed. The way they cut the final lip sync, made sure we didn't see the best of her performance. Not that Angie wasn't deserving. But at one point, one of the other queens called her delusional. Production had her as an underdog to make her win more accepting. All my love to Angie. She earned her crown!
I really be forgetting Vanjie’s full drag name is Vanessa Vanjie Mateo. Like if anyone referred to her as just ’Vanessa’ I’d actually have no idea who they’re referring to
11:53 - So the entire dress was made by Amped Accessories, and I was told that this wasn't originally for her final runway, but for a category they didn't end up doing. However Shannel ended up using her original final outfit for her promo shoot instead. I'm glad it worked out that way because she just looks incredible.
Plastique Tiara was the first queen that I felt like I could relate to; she was able to articulate an queer Asian American experience that I feel like does not get talked about enough and needless to say, I am sad that she did not win
To me it feels like vanjie's attitude is what propelled her into the top 3. Throughout the season but ESPECIALLY this episode you can see how much joy she has in seeing other people succeed. This season has made vanjie one of my top queens from the franchise
fun fact about Angeria: she's the first all stars solo winner to come from a double digit season. (You might argue that Ra'Jah counts, but technically that wasn't an all stars season.)

Worth mentioning for this season is the track record. If we assumed that there were no bonus badges given out, every challenge was worth one badge, and the rightful winners of each challenge won each week, then we would have a five-way tie for last with two wins apiece, and only three queens with four badges: Plastique, Roxxxy, and Angeria. This is the sort of thing that makes giveaway badges and souble diamonds and three badge talent shows feel like such a waste of time: I think that's the top 3 we all believe we deserved to see based on the season we watched, and no spice was needed. We didn't come to RPDR for game show twists, we came to watch the queens perform. Let them perform and we'll leave satisfied.

I truly feel that with time people will come to see these badge related twists as the worst twists the show has ever done. They are pointless and make the competition aspect feel insignificant

I am totally convinced Shanels performance was meant to be in the dark in UV lights, and her outfit, pins and cube are meant to glow. They probably said no to turning the lights down or didnt have the UV equipment to make it look good.

I've been saying that the editing and storyline production has been weird for awhile. This is the third season this year that Ru presided over where a queen was given a winner's edit, and then they didn't win.
Roxxxy said on a live yesterday that she's not coming back again, but to look out for her future endeavours.
That's sad. I feel bad for her. She would do so well in a different country vs the world like rajah o hara did in Canada vs the world.
For me this is one of those two things can be true at once moments…am I thrilled for Angie? Absolutely! Am I sad it didn’t go to Roxxxxy? Absolutely!
I really thought Roxxxy had this locked down. And I'm stunned Plastique wasn't in the final three. But I'm still thrilled for Angeria.

Plastique is PERFECTION and should have been top 2 for the talent show and top 3 for the crown. I’m okay with Angeria winning. I think it should’ve been Roxxxy or Plastique. I mean Plastique was just STUNNING the entire time and performed well in all the challenges.

Yeah, I think with this format I care less about who wins? Like, I'm surprised Plastique wasn't top 2 for the challenge (altho I would have put her there with Vangie, personally) but there's no way this series isn't a win for her overall. Which is what I feel All Star seasons should be - great performers showing off why they're amazing with enough competition thrown in for The Drama.
There was a reason they crowbarred it in. The winner was also based on the performance overall during the season. Monet won that lip synch. But Jinx won overall.
This is way different than AS7 because AS7 Jinx was dominating the entire season & was the clear & deserved winner. Monet was actually flopping and had the lowest badges or whatever until the very end when she got 3 for one performance. So this was more so like the complete opposite of that - because Roxxxy was the clear standout and dominating the season but DIDNT win.

Plastique showed so much versatility! Consistently surprised. Maybe the franchise wasn't expecting her to blow away the competition like that? Who knows. Regardless, I'm so happy for all the queens who were able to showcase new stuff and get their flowers this season. Lots of amazing drag was showcased on as9!

Glad Angeria won, she's done fantastically, and her variety show performance was the best. The ending lipsync was underwhelming from them all, but it was a weird song to go with.

For me, even with Plastique's wins (and she maybe even deserved more) the storyline was clearly Angie vs Roxxxy all season long, with the wins and snips and the back-and-forth of it all, but they really gave Roxxxy a winner's edit (to me) so I was thinking ok Angie absolutely deserves to win but she's falling behind on badges and the edit isn't favoring her and then BAM last minute subversion to shock the fans and cause outrage online for clicks. Like, if the narrative was always "these two are neck-a-neck it's anyone's game" it would have had a much different reaction from fans, but that's not as shocking or engagement-driving as the narrative of a robbed legend.
Sucks that Angie got thrown under the bus like that and now her win is "tainted" because of stupid production bs because she's such a talented queen and deserving winner.

Even though Plastique did not win, it warmed my heart to hear Jorgeous, Gotmik, & Nina talk about their appreciation of Plastique’s style of drag as well as her runway designs. Especially nice to see how Plastique has influenced Jorgeous’ work. I agree with Miss Bussy’s review of Season 9 - thank you for this video.
I’m really happy for Angie - I’ve loved her since her season. Sure, I was shocked not to see Plastique in the top, and thought the win could have gone to Roxxxy. Angeria deserved the win as much as they did, but I think -if- it’s production favoritism is goes like this: Angie isn’t as popular (the response to her win shows it). If you put Roxxxy or Plastique on a Vs or International season, people will tune in. As charismatic and talented as Angeria is (and as much as she deserves more love from this shitty fandom), she can’t pull viewers like they can. Production only cares about making more money, not making a fair TV show.

Honestly I felt like I couldn’t breathe during the talent show. One after the other were at the tippy top of their genre of drag. I loved every act and was screaming along with all girls. Im happy for angie she is fierce and I’m happy the money went to the black justice coalition

Almost all the queens had massive earrings on tonight in their final runways. I wonder if there was some backstage competition on who has the biggest earrings which goes with the outfit. This is nothing more than my opinion from my observation of these few no-elimination AS:
- They really need to work on this badge system. Queens should not "snip-snip, b!tch" anyone. That could potentially give a badge to number 3 in the following challenge, the snipped queen might not apply herself to the following challenge and it makes a mess out of the game.
- The last challenge giving the top-two 3 badges? Why? Because they didn't win enough to progress? Come on!
- Doubling up someone's badges? If they didn't manage to get them the entire competition, why?
- Giving badges in mini-challenges is something that either happens in every single mini-challenge or doesn't happen at all. Otherwise, it could be perceived as favouritism.
- Get a badge and give one? So this is RuPaul's Best Friend Race! 😂
I'm all for giving the queens time and taking the stress of getting eliminated away from AS, but that's it. If Ru created AS just to give a winner title to her favourite queens, then pick them to win the bloody challenges.

I couldn't shake Plastique not being willing to commit to learning the lip sync songs. Not just 1 but 4. I felt that it really made it clear that winning for charity was not important to her. For that she in my opinion forfitted her spot in the top 3.

Given Plastique's apparent complete inability to lipsync, I can see why she wasn't in the top three. Her runways were incredible and she opened up in the acting challenges. She is a great queen. Just not for a lipsync finale.
She's not a bad lip-syncer. It's not one of her skills but she's not inept at it like Jimbo. Hell, she could have even won against Vanjie that one time. Seems like a weird thing to hold against her when she's done so well in every other way. I am not even a fan like that by the way, but most winners have some fatal flaw like that, so nobody should expect a complete all-rounder. Besides, this three-way finale lipsync seemed mostly like a formality, so Plastique could have easily won if they wanted her to. I wanted Roxxxy to win though. Anyway, I guess both got a lot of fanfare so it doesn't matter?

Kandy was 100 here. Plastique having a phenomenal runway package does not equate to her earning the crown. Had she bothered to learn the words to lipsyncs and not reportedly piss in bottles to have crew clear them away might have stood her in better stead to earn the title
honestly i feel like the way they cast this season-no matter who won it would be a well liked contestant. there werent any “villains” since it was a charity season.
I heard that the real reason Angie won over Roxxy is because the only queens not to be mentioned in the new lawsuit of former RDR staff against the show were Angie, Nina, and Shannel!
Plastique didn't need to win. She's gonna be getting paid plenty after the world got to see how awesome she is
That's not even the point... it was a charity season. Which makes sense they gave a charitable win to Angeria, now we can stop seeing her on tv anymore.
On top of being very talented at what they do, Angeria is one of the kindest , most charming , humble , gracious human beings to ever be on RPDR . What a Beautiful Person , inside and out. p.s. Bussy looks great , loving the paint job .
ANGERIA is a DESERVED WINNER!! Roxxxy got a badge from Nina and help from production (the makeover challenge). Angie ATE this season!! Crowning Roxxxy would've been too obvious and I'm glad they chose Angie... she was my winner from the start... and besides Rupaul LOVES Angie and her humour... at the end of the day it is RUPAUL'S DRAG RACE and Ru ultimately has the last say. #TeamAngieAlways

Even if Plastique had been top 3 I truly believe Angeria would have taken the crown anyway for some of the reasons stated by Bussy. She is the biggest RPDR fan, and I really think they’re gonna make her Pit Stop host!

I started enjoying the show better by just watching it for the show and reminding myself that RuPaul will crown whoever they want. It has given me more peace and entertainment value. 😅

I have another theory about why Plastique wasn't given the final badge. She'd lost all of her lip syncs. She wasn't going to be competition. Although Roxxy's season was good, her finale act was meh. So she still placed. The way they cut the final lip sync, made sure we didn't see the best of her performance. Not that Angie wasn't deserving. But at one point, one of the other queens called her delusional. Production had her as an underdog to make her win more accepting. All my love to Angie. She earned her crown!

11:53 - So the entire dress was made by Amped Accessories, and I was told that this wasn't originally for her final runway, but for a category they didn't end up doing. However Shannel ended up using her original final outfit for her promo shoot instead. I'm glad it worked out that way because she just looks incredible.
Plastique Tiara was the first queen that I felt like I could relate to; she was able to articulate an queer Asian American experience that I feel like does not get talked about enough and needless to say, I am sad that she did not win

To me it feels like vanjie's attitude is what propelled her into the top 3. Throughout the season but ESPECIALLY this episode you can see how much joy she has in seeing other people succeed. This season has made vanjie one of my top queens from the franchise
