We all know it's the Edgars starting their old ways again.
Judging someone off a cut is crazy
@@wavy5624 , if the shoe fits.
And jumping the park's perimeter walls to get in for free. 🙄
Disneyland needs to enforce this. This happens there all the time. I was just there today in the Rise of the Resistance line and a large family in front of me had several of their group cut in line. It’s rude and inconsiderate.
Disney has line cutting in their policy that it could lead to kicked out the park or banned
I agree with you on this. Way too many people holding spots in line.
It happens to me on that ride too. Infuriating.
Thank you Knotts! This is a huge problem and so needed! People do this all the time at Knotts and other SoCal theme parks, especially holding place in line for their 20 family members or friends. It’s so frustrating and since many people have no line etiquette nowadays, or just feel self-entitled, theme parks unfortunately need to police this.
DISNEY NEEDS THIS
This is specifically for when all the school field trips come. I was there today as a chaperone and I was happy to see employees handling kids that cut. In years past the cutting lines was so bad which made the wait even longer for everyone. I am happy to see Knotts Berry Farm taking these steps.
This has been a problem for a while at knotts so I’m glad they’re finally enforcing it. They need to enforce it at Disneyland as well, as the line cutting is worse there. Too many people acting like they are better than everyone. Seriously if you don’t want to wait in line then buy lightning lane!
Obnoxious, entitled little teenagers. It’s usually a big group of 4-5 kids trying to cut the line.
This is a MAJOR issue there and at Disney. Large groups of people are always cutting ahead to join others. I’ve had 10+ people doing this at one time. I’m glad it’s getting attention.
I seen this so manny time at universal studios. Where 2 or 3 people pretend that their group is in the front but in reality there's nobody so they skip the line.
Bathroom breaks are not the issue. It’s when ONE person cuts in front of your group, then literally 6 people cut in front of you instead of waiting for his group to catch up. It happens to me EVERY single time I’m at Disneyland, usually with tourists. I’m not a magic key holder.
Just letting you know on Calico Rapids for almost 45 minutes we saw groups of young teens walking right in front of everybody with no one stopping them. It is happening a lot including The Log ride. It is very frustrating.
I have witnessed the same thing
@@DarNelleW have to agreed that they need to have there security need to which the line at all times and everytime at people are always cuting in line , this not going to work knotts berry farm
My school group were mad when everyone was cutting and we had to be in the back
I see teens line cutting every single visit to knotts. It's a pretty clear problem and the workers rarely stop them.
Line jumping is rampant at cedar fair parks... teens especially think they can just cut in front of people to meet up with friends. This happens at cedar point and kings island all the time and both parks have the security number.
I live down the street from KI. I’m there all of the time with my kiddos and yes the line jumping is wild. It even happens in the food lines.
Imagine this policy at Disneyland lol
If you wanna go the bathroom or get a drink they should give you a pass or something or leaving line bathroom pass
So many people need to learn or be reminded of theme park etiquette and by this being spoken on news and social media is a good way to do so
We went to California's Great America (also Cedar Fair)and we where waiting in line for 45 min when line cutters started to file in 2 to 5 at a time over and over, my kids and I left after 60 min waiting, it was supposed to be a 30 min wait. Line cutters suck and they add more waittime to the folks following the rules and regulations. Cheers Mondo, we love your channel.
They need to do this at Disneyland.
I have a season pass and two weeks ago, I went with a good friend and her daughters who were visiting from out of town. I dropped them off to get to the Silver Bullet early. After I parked, I looked in the app and the wait time was 45 minutes. Her 13-year-old had been waiting for about 15 minutes. I then looked at the app again 10 minutes later and the wait time jumped to 180 minutes. We talked with a mom who was with her 10 year old son and she said all these teens were line jumping. My friend was livid. I agreed with her and said, "Let's get your money back." We went to the information center. Management listened and fully refunded her money. The next day, they went to Disneyland and they didn't have that problem there. I fully support Knott's and parent company Cedar Fair cracking down on the entitled who are wrecking a good experience for others who follow the rules.
Go Knott's. I support this 100% 💪
I'm texting Knott's and telling them everyone in front of me cut 🤣🤣
Dude, groups of kids try to push through the lines all day long.
You need to go on some crowded days
We went during Knott's Merry Farm last year and the line cutting was so bad! An entire 8 person family jumped the chain to cut for the train, the train of all things. Prior to that, we were in a 2hr que, this woman very rudely shoved her way to the front of the line where her husband and his friends were at and then right before they boarded, she summoned all of her teenage children, at least 4 of them, to go through to the front of the line as well.
Luna Park Melbourne in Australia's main coaster has signs with: "Queue jumpers will be torn in half and eaten by demons".
Yep a line cutting incident is one of the reasons we haven't gone back there since 2021
Problem people are becoming very inconsiderate one in line and then 5 come to join in.
I had a time on Ghostrider where we stood in line behind two girls around 12 or 13. Ten minutes into our 1+hr wait, two boys showed up from the road outside the line and joined the girls by hopping the fence into the planter and then hopped over the railing into the line. A but later, 8 more kids around 13 and 14 also came over the fences and planrer to join their friends. When we got to the area with an associate, 6 more asked to be let in and they were permitted to join their group. The gen x guy behind me was passively complaining the whole way. One way knotts can prevent line hopping is architecture: covering the entire queue with physical barriers making it impossible to get in without running into associates or emergency exit alarms. Also they should add the reporting feature to their app
The line jumping is getting pretty bad at Knott’s. Especially for the bigger rides like Ghostrider and Xcelerator. They’re starting to station more associates at the ride entrances in the instance that you do need to leave the line.
It’s definitely not a full proof system, but the fact that they’re addressing it is good. It’s not so much people leaving to go to the restroom. It’s the people that have 5+ friends join them in line out of nowhere. We did see them escort a group of teens out of line and out of the park. So it’s going to work, they just need more security in place to handle it.
Well now that it is official I hope people in line will be more boldened to stop these line cutters from now on!!!
people have been saying employees have been posted around the lines or at least one there to monitor. but i hope knotts hires more of them and security and i hope this is not all just for temporary show
Maybe you're not bothered by line cutting. Fair enough. But a LOT of visitors are. Well done to Knotts for taking the initiative.
If it’s several people or more, I see it as a problem. If it’s a couple kids catching up with mom and dad or a parent with a child, or even an adult who had to step out, it shouldn’t be an issue especially when using the bathroom becomes a necessity or dire thirst from waiting in a long line.
And do not cut the cheese (please) at Knott's. 😝
Your examples of line cutting at Disneyland are definitely understandable. I’m sure what’s going on at Knotts isn’t the case. Much different clientele. Teens opposed to families. Guessing the chaperone rule isn’t working.
Kntts Berry Farm snoopy Love my favorite one fan BIG 💖💖💖🎶⭐️
I was there on May 10, this happened on every single ride, I am glad that they’re doing this and I will snitch my azz off
Do ittt 👍🏼
And jumping the park's perimeter walls to get in for free. 🙄
I had just went to knotts and xcelerator had a five hour wait!! thankfully it was the first ride I got on
I’m sorry but I don’t see a problem with this. Actually a huge improvement. There’s been a lot of teenagers that come one after one to cut in line. I’ve seen it a lot.
In my opinion, instead of Knott’s putting the signs outside the line they should also put some inside too
Yes a great idea.
Disneyland needs this 1-2 I’m fine with especially with kids but when it becomes a group of 4-5 adults it’s just rude
While I was a ride operator at Knotts I did witness line cutting and holding spots. What causes this issue is people are either not moving the line along or holing spots for their split up parties. Very frustrating but what can you do about it
It's only going to cause more conflict. I don't think it would work. Im a mom and one time at Disneyland i got in line for rise of the resistance ride while my teen daughter and her friends went to buy snacks and I told them I'll be in line for the ride and they can join me after. It was a very hot, crowded day and we are not passholders. Its a one day pass so of course i wanted my daughter and her friends to join me in line so we can experience the ride which was our first time and everyone boo my daughter and her friends because they thought they were cutting which in reality they were coming to join me since i don't have a lighting lane either and the wait was 2 hours that day, why would I have to wait for my teens to buy snacks which took about 30 minutes and then come back and wait 2 hours of ride when i can cut time by letting them go get snacks while im by myself making line and get those 30 minutes ahead. Now i have seen at other theme parks where a whole bunch of teens cut but they have no one waiting on them. Then those are the ones that should be reported, but with a policy, I have a feeling everyone will just report anyone cutting even those that go for a restroom break.
When you've been waiting in line for 45 minutes and a group of 3 teenagers are making their way through tge line stating their group is up ahead, that's an issue. There is no way it was a simple let me get a drink or restroom issue. Then they go passed your view. Here is a Solution: Tell them that's fine but I will be walking up to your group and if you're just cutting I will call an employee over.. problem solved.
I have diabetes and it makes me go to the bathroom frequently. If we’re not able to leave and come back in line, we should be offered a DOS pass then. Because it’s not fair to people who have a medical condition.
if im not mistaken Knotts does have a DAS pass, you just have to goto guest services over by ghostrider/lockers. They might do it up front as well
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
i accidentally went to disneyland recently on a grad nite and there were SO many teenagers doing this! they literally didn't care at all 😩
Never, Never, EVER go to Disneyland on a Grad night!!! ……EVER!!
Hi
No one will like this but Virtual Que after the line gets to an hour
You also have the issue of parents or rest of the group holding places while the rest of group experiences a different attraction. Not ok
That's going to start a lot of fights.
The fact you act like this is weird or confusing tells me you do this 😂😂😂
…..it’s always the ETHNIC kids!!!
Yeaaa. No.
@@rubyanddelilahandnani …….yeah, YES!! I’ve seen it at Knott’s, Disneyland, Magic Mountain, and Universal. Approximately 80%+ Hispanic, and black kids.
They want you to rat ppl out...awkward!!!
Snitches get stitches lol
Snitches get stitches Knotts ima let them go and say nothing 🤫…
This happened to me when I went last year, a group of kids “teenagers” cut the like at ghost rider queque and they caused a whole scene that they had to stop the line 🫠🫠
And do not cut the cheese (please) at Knott's. 😝
