This is an absolute masterpiece. RICHARD BURTON is a national treasure. To the 7 numptys who put a thumbs down. Just carry on reading the SUN newspaper, that's as far as your imagination stretches.

One of the most beautiful prose works; a moving treatise of existence itself by Dylan Thomas, spoken by Richard Burton

Love this play about my town Swansea.. Welsh wizardry and poetry and passion fills heads and hearts with nostalgia and booming sentiment. Genius.

The sensuousness of the words come through in this interpretation, the soft velvet voice mirroring the ink-black night and sea, and the cobbled stone wet nose of the wet dog. The musical chimes of the text are deliciously delivered, delightful, delicate and dulcet.

I have just watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and can't help feeling that not-yet Sir Anthony Hopkins was channelling Richard Burton's narration.
