- In the summer when I was a child, my favorite insect, the cicada!
I decided to go back to my childhood and try to catch cicadas.
And I also wanted to see the scene where the cicada became an adult, which I had never seen before.
Unfortunately, it was near the end of summer, so we could not see the cicadas larvae, and we had to wait another year.
A year later, PleaseBee goes out late into the night to meet the cicada larvae.
Will PleaseBee ever meet the cicada larvae?

I used to play with cicadas as a child too. I remember staying up to go out and watch them come out of their shells. That was pretty cool to see again.

Man, i’ve always loved cicadas as a kid and even now, one of my favorite insects, thank you for doing a video on them
I cry every time I see one, knowing there's no pet insect as adorable as they are. I collect so many nymphs to see them hatch and it just warms my heart so much. I've straight up burst into tears once when I had 4 different species all at once.

아.저도 작년에 애들놀이터서 매미이긴한데 요상한녀석을 본적이 있어요. 애들이 벌레인줄 놀라서..풀숲으로 옮겨주고..우화하기전의 매미였군요! 그뒤에 얼마후 대추나무에서 신나게우는 매미소리를 들은..그매미가 그매미인지는 모르는ㅋ

제 딸도 그저께 매미 유충을 잡아와서 부화시켰는데(저도 강제로 탈피하는 과정을 관찰해야했답니다) 남편이 이걸 보고 어쩜 이렇게 이 유투버님이랑 똑같은 짓을 했는지 하시더라고요 ^^ 신기한 우연이었어요. 저희 딸이 제발돼라님의 찐팬이거든요!

9년 전에는 낮에 매미 유충이 나무에서 우화하는 모습을 보고
1년 전 여름밤에는 공원 길바닥에서 매미 유충이 다녀서 나무에 옮겼던 기억이 나네요. 우화 과정을 영상으로 다시 봐도 신기하네요!
평소엔 매미를 좋아하진 않았지만 그래도 제발돼라님 영상 보면서 괜찮고 귀엽다는 느낌이 드네요!
돼라님 영상 보다가 지지난주 주말농장 밭에서 사마귀.한마리 모셔왔습니다ㅋ 아이가 꼭 데려가야 한다해서 데리고 왔는데 은근 계속보니 귀엽더군요 눈도 크고 입도 쪼물쪼물,, 고냥이마냥 세수도 하고.. 사마귀매력에 폭 빠졌답니다 ^^
저도 어릴적 곤충이든 동물이든 엄청 좋아했는데.. 그래서 곤충에 대한 다큐도 많이 보곤 했었죠... 성인이 된 이후로는 딱히 본적이 많이 없는것 같아요. 이 채널이 어린이들 교육용으로도 좋을것 같네요.

금빛 매미... 너무 영롱하네요 매미들도 여름 잘 보내길..
작년에 밤에 집 주변 산책하다가 나무 한 그루에 3~4마리씩이나 우화하는 모습을 보곤 정말 감격 했었는데...어떤 곤충이든 우화하는 모습이 제일 신비로운것 같아요!
평소 곤충을 좋아해서 항상 돼라님 영상만 봐요! 곤충이랑 친구가 되는 모습이 너무 좋아요ㅎㅎ
얼마전에 사람들이 많이다니는 산책로에 매미 유충이 위험하게 지나가고 있더라구요 밟혀죽을까 싶어 나뭇가지에 올려서 나무에 붙여줬는데 돼라님 영상보니 그 유충이 생각나네용 ㅎㅎ 매미가 되었겠죠?! 사실 여름도 매미울음소리도 싫어하지만 생명이기에 그냥 지나칠수가없었네요 돼라님 영상보면서 늘 힐링합니다 :)

I discovered your channel with my partner recently and I gotta say this is my favorite video so far٫ I remember when I was 13 or 14 brood x cicadas were everywhere in my state one summer and I had a huge fascination with them. At one point when I was at a baby sitters٫ the other kids were scared of them but I recall literally lining my arms and shoulders with them because I liked the sounds they made. I had no idea they peed when they flew! So I learned something new from your video :) I was a really weird kid٫ but as a adult now I still like cicadas a lot and one day I hope my kids might be interested in them too or at the least I could teach them about cicada shells
You are not alone! Even though we aren't many, I'm just like you, an adult who loves insects! As a child I was helping them escape from cats and birds when they were larvae. It was a great experience to me!
I have a giant collection of cicada shells. Once I got to interact with a green cicada, and even a white one with red eyes! I have no clue how I found a white cicada. They must be rare.
@@rancholotl3384 The white cicada you saw must have been a young cicada٫ when they emerge from the ground they look white and fleshy before they change color

As someone who grew up with pokemon and considers himself as a bug type trainer (Nincada is one of my favorites) this video is extra cool to me and the shiny variant of Nincanda is such a coincidence, when you look at the freshly emerged ones.

저도 옛날엔 매미 유충 잡아서 우화 시켜보기도 하고 새벽에 나가서 매미 우화 과정을 살펴본적이 있는데 신기하고 매우 길더라고요 옛날에 봐서 잘기억이 안났지만 이렇게 보게 되니 또 신기하네요 앞으로도 좋은 영상 기대하겠습니다

매미 날개색이 초반에 연한 에메랄드색이었는데 색이 너무 이쁘더라고요.. 이야 제가 몰랐던 또다른 모습 보여주셔서 감사할따름입니다.
저는 애매미가 제일 좋더군요. 무슨 악보를 보고 우는지, 다른 매미와는 달리 곡조(?)가 있고, 소리도 맑고 청아해서 가장 시원하게 느껴집니다.
그리고 매미 애벌레를 실제로 채집하다니 신기하네요.

요즘엔 새싹이들이 잘 자라는지 너무 궁금해요 형.
1:43 부터 나오는 매미는 갓 우화한 매미로 비교적 잡기 쉬워요. 원래 말매미는 검은색이지만 지금 보이는 것은 황색 믾이 있죠. 황색이 잔털인데 우화하면 지금 보이는 상태였다가 시간이 지나면 털이 빠져 본래 매미색으로 보입니다. 거의 모든 매미가 갓 우화한 매미는 잔털이 있어요. 손톱으로 살짝 긇으면 털이 빠져 원래의 매미 색이 나오구요. 지금 보이는 매미는 당일날 갓 우화한 매미로 보이구요. 한2-3일 지나면 반응성이 좋아져서 잡기 어려워져요
