Every card he listed was banned, except pheonix blade, which is part of a dark warrior combo that can literally do anyhting.
They're good cards, they aren't that good.

Phoenix blade is banned in the OCG
Smoke Grenade is legal in the OCG

Literally the best equips in the game.
Moon mirror shield being the best.
You can splash it in any deck and it would never be bad.
A honest slept on staple.
Power of the gaurdians is second best.
Gain +500 attack when attacking or attacked
+500 for every counter
Instead of being destroyed you can lose one counter instead.

Mikanko is actually pretty crazy with equip spells. They can OTK with Tryce for example making them a strong going second deck especially since all you need is the Mikanko engine and then just a pile of kaijus.

Butterfly dagger Elma was banned for a good reason.
Having gearfried the iron knight and Royal magical library isn't the only reason. It's an infinite resource that may cause other degenerate combos in the future. Very bad for future card effect designs.

I love using big bang shot with gearfried in dual links right now. It is an easy way to non target banish an opponents monster and can be used with MST or Dcyclone

I’ll probably be the only person to die on this hill, but I always thought one of the more disgusting cards in 2018 gouki that should have been banned with firewall was absolutely Phoenix blade, strictly because it was like you were never truly discarding, it was just a net zero.

All the spirit weapons had some major use for theor time. Too bad they were banned. Tryce was... Brokem. Lose 700 attack to attack a second time? Toss that on a monster that can attack directly, or one that gets stronger with every attack... Or both. I still have that deck... >_>;
