New to this band. Been a metal fan for 30 plus years and rare is an album that catches you on the first listen. I agree with an earlier commenter that the YT algo was working. A lot have said this could be on the list for death metal album of the year, but let's be honest this is metal album of the year good. Rare is an album solid top to bottom. Great production, some of the "cleanest" growls I have heard and lyrically it is heavy and smart. Just wow.
I discovered this band, Wake, Worm, and An Abstract Illusion at the same time (due to a Reddit thread) and the choice of what to listen to first is a truly painful process. I need to shatter my conscious being into a collective hive mind so that I may soak in all these bands at once.
I found this on bandcamp and have been absolutely blasting it since. Insanely good music and the production is immense. Massive massive massive thanks to all involved, you have no idea how much this music is helping me at the moment
I really needed this today....thank you HATH....every songs a fawkin banga....this is meant to be played loud full blast in a car, or with some amazing headphones. The sounds just roll, and in the very last song in the last couple of seconds there is this really amazing short but beautiful riff.......ughh second play through today. God tier metal

Some very competently written, performed and recorded blackened death metal (with a tiny bit of At the Gates influence). A bit too modern-ish sounding than what I go for in dm, but it certainly has some killer moments on it. And I adore that album cover!
I am currently undergoing Chemotherapy for Stage Four cancer, and this album is fantastic for listening to on long days in hospital. Totally immersive, top draw, premium quality death metal. 10/10
We just pre-ordered the album after listening to it here. I hadn't even heard of Hath until this morning when I was watching a BangerTV review of another album and Blayne talked about Hath and it sounded amazing. I know the vinyl situation right now sucks but it will be worth the wait. June will be a special month anyway for a few reasons so if we get this album sometime that month it will be like a celebration!

This is solid as a well-made brick. :) This is an original take on progressive melodic? death metal that doesn't deal in uninteresting riffs or throw solos around like hot cakes to fill time. It flows smoothly from beginning to end. Kind of reminds me of Deviant Process. I love the vocals - brutal but comprehensible mids. Woo!

Holy shit this one is soo filled with Hate , really really different from the other 2 albums, i love it, its even scary in some way, a punishing wall of sound, really dissonant, really straight hate in the form of sound; while it still maintains that Hath essence of... Being absurdly beautiful.. (even tho theres almost no melodic parts in this one). A really different and scary face Hath showed us. Masterpiece nonetheless.

This band is very unique but I want to recommend Hate Eternal, Suffering Hour, Ulcerate, and Goatwhore. Haths previous albums are also fantastic. Revocations new album is another sick album.
@@laakasuo depends on what sounds robotic to you. Hate Eternal and Ulcerate may sound robotic to you, even some revocation albums... still all of them are worth checking out I think. I might also throw in Convulsing and slugdge latest albums, but same point about production... there are actually videos on the production of this very particular album on the channel of the band and they used quite some cool ideas and little tricks to make it sound massive, real interesting and worth checking out!
