The Tethys girls is super smart. This thing is super interesting, but raises some quistions. For example: How bout other ions in water? Potentialy they can react with Cl- aswell. Plus, is the lead presence in watter really that big of a deal these days? Also, it would be super cool if she standardized the sensor for lead concentration so that readout in the app says actual concentration of Pb ion-equivalents, rather than using some silly gauge.
Give Gitanjali every research grant under the sun. Forever. For the rest of her life.

the lead in water detector is actually pretty easy to understand and to think about, of course I am an engineer, but theres is no real commercial use for it, regardless of the actual use of it, it's really amazing how a 12 year old could develop it
