I've just purchased this same combo shower. I think it would be easier to remove the threaded pipe from the shower arm and the shower bracket before attaching it to the wall. The small allen wrench included with the kit is used to loosen the set screws in order to separate the pipe from the arm and bracket. The larger allen wrench is used to attach the threaded pipe to the female end in the wall. The arm and bracket can be slid back on and rotated as necessary until level and the set screws can then be tightened. A critical part of this installation is to be sure the depths of the female threaded pipes in the wall is correct. The manual states .4 inches in from the outside face of the final wall to the lip of the threaded pipe inside of the wall.
How do I seal the plate for the handheld so water does not leak? Support is telling me I don't need to but I see the gap as it does not sit flush against the wall
no need to silicone on the back of the plate. you caulk around the valve so water cant get in behind the wall. you have to think about if someone fix the valves in the future. how they able to remove the plate.

Thank you for this video. I have a similar set up i was not sure how easy it would be to cut the plastic frame down to size. Now i know.

Why did you silicone the plate to the tile? Was the face plate unable to snap onto the multivalve?
