Hah, back when I moved I had no mower and my brother repowered a seized model 8 with an 11hp Honda engine. Used it until the mower deck had one of the gear housing seize up somewhere inside it. I put it through hell and it still lasted four years. Tractor itself still ran/drove fine, though.
Have an unrestored 10 and those hood snouts are so hard to find. That's what's holding up restoring mine. It's a little rough but all there. Wish mine looked that good. Looks like you guys have done a good job on it.
