Love the feel of this song. And so great to see the photos of your beautiful mom. I'm forever grateful that I got to hear her play - at the bank. Unforgettable. xoxo Jill E
Hey Donnie, I loved your mom (and dad). Dorothy was the most modest, non egotistical artist I’ve ever met! And, because our apartments adjoined, I got an early exposure to jazz. Thanks for continuing to share your work. Movie Show’s a winner!
Don Scardino When I was getting into “bad trouble” late nights as a teen, we’d always catch your dad hunting for a place to park (a green valiant, I recall). I went with Shim twice to see Dot play at the bank. A lot of strong great memories, including meeting you back stage when you appeared in a play with Vivian Vance.
Made all the more meaningful with the homage to your mom. Beautiful. Straight from the heart. I'm reminded of my beloved Kenny Rankin. When can we buy a CD???? Love, Mary & Bob
thanks, Mary! Definitely in the Kenny Rankin groove. Did I ever tell you that when Kenny was in his late teens he would sit in my parents' living room, listening to my Mom play, asking her what those jazz chords were? True. A CD? Who knows? I need a sponsor! Sending big love from us to you & Bob!
That is so cool about your mother !!!!! I was always a singer before I got into acting I for me it’s jazz all the way!! Lovely song!!! Let us pray that Uncle Joe will be in the Oval !!! Take good care Don !!! Susan Towers👏💙
I recall your mom playing, smiling, in her element. Paul Simon comes to mind as Barb and I listen to your latest here. You hide your muscianship under a bushel. Stay safe.
Love love love this. Really beautiful. Thank you.
Thank YOU, Matt!!! So glad you liked it.

Thank you, Michael! Yes you got to experience her playing first hand and up close. We were lucky kids, growing up with all that music. Stay safe! xo

Thanks, Ange! That was my Mom, alright, she had a glowing personality, particularly when she was at the keyboard. Hope all's well. xo
Jazzy.... I'm gonna get me a cup of joe -- sit back, relax and enjoy the show - please let it be the Joe Show! :)
Yes! It MUST be JOE!
