I feel like the toon shader for this one would be perfect if it wasn't as bright. That's pretty much my only problem with the toon shader, how bright it makes everything look. The lighter colors end up looking way too bright compared to the original.
GOD YES. I have Mirai as my first and only Miku game. The first time I saw Rin with the bangs, my mind was just like Wait...WAIT. I DON'T THINK THAT'S HOW THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. WHY.

I mean, that part might be intentional enough. Although it would be pretty out of place considering the lack of change or attention to every other song in Megamix lol
To be completely honest I was kind of disappointed when Megamix cam out. I thought the shading would be like Future Tone. Or even better than it. But it looks like they always have a spotlight on them which isn't good in dark pv's. This one isn't as bad since the stage is bright. Take odds and ends as an example, Miku looks like she has floodlights on her at all times. I can completely understand if you like Megamix for its simplicity but in my opinion F, F2nd, and Future Tone. Will always give me nostalgia.
I mean its a port. The game runs well and looks good in handheld mode which honestly is the main selling point. The reason this game is doing well and people love it is because Nintendo fans finally get a chance to play a Miku game that isn’t Mirai. I love the graphics because it has the Nintendo style of bright and cheerful colors though I admit I like Future tone’s style a bit more. Hopefully the game does well here in the west so we can actually get a new Project Diva game. I have bought Future tone three times already.
I mean, that’s the point. When you compare Megamix with the others, you May say it looks bad. But once you have it irl, you May say that it suits the Switch. That’s my experience at least.

mirai: expressive and adorable. makes justice for the song's cuteness ft: quite expressive too. aesthetically pleasant lighting that works perfectly with the shader. megamix: look how they massacred my girl
I actually quite like how pastel Rin looks in the Mega Mix. The problem is, with all the shine on her hair, sometimes you can’t tell where her bangs end and her forehead begins😂
True but I love the Mega 39. The only thing I don't like is that their noses are gone and less defined. I know it's weird but people without noses are weird.
@@rhea4559 No we aren't. Absolutely no effort was put into megamix. The visuals aren't even the worst part. The framerate drops whenever more than one character is on screen so the visuals are extremely pixelated and choosing modules on songs with more than one character is slow as ever, the game crashes frequently and all of the dlc are songs that all already in future tone. There is not a single song megamix has that future tone doesn't. Freaking Project Sekai has more new music videos than Megamix. And the visuals are superior.

Yo sinceramente opino del mega 39's que es un gran juego y pos los gráficos, me parece que es algo... Nuevo y diferente, o algo por el estilo, o sea intentaron de variar un poco más lo de los gráficos y en eso es en lo que la gente más se queja, si no les gustan pues que no les gusta y ya! No tienen porque juzgar algo cuando no saben porque lo quisieron hacer así o no lo se... Como dije, creo que es una forma nueva de variar un poco más lo de los gráficos en el project diva... Ahora, lo de la cantidad de canciones, posiblemente pusieron menos por la cantidad de espacio en la switch y pues supongo que intentaron de no gastar todo el espacio....¿? xD bueno, el punto es que el megamix es muy bueno porque tiene también el otro modo de juego que es en el modo mixto y pues en un juego lo más esencial seria como es el gameplay, los gráficos, también son importantes pero el juego en sí es divertido y es bueno que ahora esté en switch por para los que no tienen ps4 pero si una switch puedan disfrutar del juego como tal, y creo que, a pesar de que no tenga muchas canciones, hay muy buenas canciones y hay nuevas formas de jugar que en el de ps4 o sea es "mejor" según mi opinión... The white color balance is out of control I know they use the models from future tone and the color scheme of mirai dx but it feels like I need to wear sunglasses just to the play game on certain stages but other than that I like the game Project mirai dx did it better though ☺️
Rin's Hair in Future Tone looks like she cried so much on len dying that she's starting to lose hair, Megamix Kinda Fixes it but still the same, so i prefer the Mirai DX one
The DS can't handle graphics that look like future tone, keep in mind that the PS4 is a console that isn't hand held and can handle these kind of graphics while the DS is small and is handheld, it would probably shut down if it even tried to process them which is why they changed the style. Although I do agree that Mirai isn't the best I don't think it's fair to hate it but that's just my opinion :)
