  • These are the new 2010/11 camaro's that have been completely customized by the tallented gentlemen at OTTO body shop in Nebraska. Great guys and maybe an even greater pair of cars that bring out the boy in any real american car lover. Hats off to these guys and there vision. Ps In the video I guessed and said they base car was a 2008 or 9 camaro. Its a 2011 come to find out.

    Just looking at this from a design perspective of these vehicles, the look of these cars will have you really think about the ol' skoo versions of these muscle cars! The look from classic Trans Am's and GTO, while at the same time still maintaining a modern stance and technology. Bring Pontiac back!!

  • @Valdismith
    @Valdismith Před 7 lety +1

    They really did pass over the legendary look, keeping the traditional angles and design details from a GTO and a Trans Am, into a 2016 version of Trans Am and GTO. This is how they would look, if it was original Pontiac, since they would have used the Camaro platform originally anyway.

    I love the Camaro. (have one in my garage right now). I am also a huge Pontiac fan. It really sucks that in a time when all these retro muscle (sports, depending on your point of view) cars are coming out of the woodwork one of the greatest companies is not around to give us our dream cars anymore. These are the closest we will probably ever get.I also wish Dodge would get their head out of their ass, and bring out a two door retro Charger. On that note. What is the deal with the new Challenger? Its one of the most beautiful cars from the outside, but it has the same interior as almost every thing else in the Chrysler/Dodge line.I also wish Plymouth could make a come back. Just imagine a retro Roadrunner, or Cuda. The 60s and 70s were the greatest time for muscle cars. I love that these cars are bringing their great style mixed with modern technologies, but I can't help but feel like there is so much that will be missed.

    • @CaptainFALKEN
      @CaptainFALKEN Před 5 lety

      The Barracuda and Road Runner are too special. They'd definitely disgrace those Plymouths by making new uglified models with airbags and prius interior and slapping Plymouth names on them. Nobody understands bodywork anymore.

    Need to round tops of fenders on gto and tool extended quarter panels, deck w/rounding also for distinction extending lower body back for more trunk space all toward traditional concept of the grand goat. Factory design of T/A vs GTO has always imparted two different animals. Same body application here is in conflict and a negative. Like Henry Fords model T. You can get any color you want as long as it's black.

    I've seen these 5th gen Camaros turned into 70's (Gen 2) Firebirds/Trans ams and a GTO now. I think the GTO version could be tweaked only a little to look like a 67-68 Firebird. Someone else did a one with a 70-73 Trans-am style nose cone. It could have been made with 4 headlights instead of 2 to make it a 69' nosecone. These are cool and everything but I think it would make more sense to remake the Gen1 Pontiac f-bodies instead of Gen 2's/GTO since GM made the Gen 5 profile to emulate the Gen1.

    • @SGTMARSHALL1
      @SGTMARSHALL1 Před rokem

      It is possible to recreate the Gen 2 fisher body with a modification to the rear window, Sailplane pillar, trailing edge of the doors and windows. This modification results in a longer T-Top by 20+ to 25% more than Trans-Am Worldwide/ Depot. Of course what would I know about making a better version than all the experts in America that had decades head start
